When President Bush says the WMDs were not "there", I am lead to believe what he means is they were not where we expected them to be. The rest of his comments seem to indicate a desire to further understand why WMD movement was not accurately tracked.

Mr. President, will you protect the NY Times and others from the public when they finally come after us with pitch forks and torches?

If we get attacked again... DUmmies would be the FIRST ones screaming that Bush didn't do anything to stop it!
MY GOD... They are stupidly clueless! It's NO WONDER they're called DUmmies!
To: BigSkyFreeper
Thats the entire reason why the program was leaked to the press! Ugh!
The dumb reporter asks if he's going to talk to Congress about the program? How would she even know there was a program...if Congress hadn't leaked it!!!

Pounding the WMD question. W's stating there were none found, both last night, and this morning.
Mark my words, he's doing this on purpose.
The WMD are getting hot : )
Go W!

NO they heard it.... but they didnt hear it in the context that need him to say it so they can make it look like he has to report to congress on their reccomendation. I am sure they are bugged that he took the step to inform them first, and then continued to do so.
To: sarasota
I didn't hear all of that part...people talking here in the office, but I did hear him say something about it's difficult to get a majority of people to agree (something like that), and then pointed, as an example, to the U.S. Senate.
To: kevkrom
What it means is, is that he is having to respond to everything that he is doing. If you have to explain it each time, then something is wrong. Obviously, some are not getting his message. This domestic spying crap bothers me. If the imperial federal government can arbitrarily point to you and say, "he is a spy" then what stops the government from doing anything else? Each and every time the government gets away with something that we think is wrong, it becomes precedent and they continue to do it because they got away with it before. This is more big brother, more big government. We have laws for a purpose. So, now we are just going around the ones they deem inappropriate. This bothers the hell out of me.

Oh, I hope you're right about those WMD. #1) We need to know where they are; #2) It will ensure the left doesn't ever get into positions of power again. LOL

He is also a master at destroying those Cowboys. It was painful to see Bledsoe act like a blinded deer again.
