BTW, you'd think they would be more afraid of Cheney than Bush, right?
Or are they going to impeach him, too?
If they think for one minute they can impeach W...they are just showing again how stupid they continue to be.

TITLE 50 > CHAPTER 36 > SUBCHAPTER I > ÃÃÃç 1802

(a) (1) Notwithstanding any other law, the President, through the Attorney General, may authorize electronic surveillance without a court order under this subchapter to acquire foreign intelligence information for periods of up to one year if the Attorney General certifies in writing under oath that
(A) the electronic surveillance is solely directed at (i) the acquisition of the contents of communications transmitted by means of communications used exclusively between or among foreign powers, as defined in section 1801 (a)(1), (2), or (3) of this title; or (ii) the acquisition of technical intelligence, other than the spoken communications of individuals, from property or premises under the open and exclusive control of a foreign power, as defined in section 1801 (a)(1), (2), or (3) of this title; [e.g., defined as terrorists /angkor]

(C) the proposed minimization procedures with respect to such surveillance meet the definition of minimization procedures under section 1801 (h) of this title; and if the Attorney General reports such minimization procedures and any changes thereto to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence at least thirty days prior to their effective date, unless the Attorney General determines immediate action is required and notifies the committees immediately of such minimization procedures and the reason for their becoming effective immediately.
Yeah, and Howard Dean is the crazy uncle in the attic.
The only way they could do this is to get the House back; that's not going to happen.
They are going after ALL top leader
Bush .. Cheney .. Delay .. and Frist
Sheesh, they are idiots.
He has absolutely NO PROOF Of that.
I think I read it had been used 12 to 18 times.
They don't care
This is all about the 2006 elections
This is making me grumpy and I'm losing my good feeling from the press conference.
I may have to go beat a dog. :-)
No it won't .. but they are listening to their base .. not the moderate dems ... or the rest of the country
Dang .. I'm really late .. and need to head out
It appears so.
Dean is nuts and I have noticed that he has been awfully quiet since his 'we cannot win' comments.
I would say it's more like reprehensible behavior. The Democrats had many opportunities to denounce this left-winged kookery, but they chose not to, and are reaping the "rewards", and this is all that they have no. They are a party surviving on left-winged conspiracy theories and other various assorted kookiness.
What about this part of the code. How does this impact on the presidents authority do do as he is doing?
I am partisan, but I cannot imagine the everyday "moderate" person not getting behind the president with these actions. If he wasnt doing these things I would be furious if something was to happen. Im so confused by these people.
