An interesting read!
"Tongsun Park"
That is a name from the past, if the same as the Co founder of the Georgetown Club in Washington. That Tongsun Park was known for his lavish entertaining of important people (1970s) and bribes to them. At that time he was associated with South Korea, not North Korea.
He's the one. A quick check with Google revealed this Washington Post article.

Thanks for this post.
Oil for Food scandal and Canada.
Not surprising. But to be fair, Canada's conservative presses like the Western Standard or Toronto Sun have covered this issue. There is no question, though, the reactions from establishment media like Globe and Mail or McCleans or the CBC are silence as expected.
My impression is that very few Canadians would have heard of Maurice Strong. However he has been an influential person in the UN for over three decades.
Per Neil Boortz ... 'freedom of the press' is not part of Canada's Constitution and the Canadian government DOES restrict what the media says or prints.
FYI ping, backhoe :)
You're welcome. And a Merry Christmas to you and yours, backhoe!
Congressional report calls for investigation of Maurice Strong's role in Oil-for-Food scandal

Strong is the guru of a nature worship cult.
He had an "ark" built to hold the papyrus UN Earth Charter. Gorbachov, our favorite communist thug who's hiding out at the Presidio on our taxpayer dime, has stated that the Earth Charter will replace the Ten Commandments. The charter is a rambling, nonsensical gruel that restates the communist manifesto.
Old Maurice also owns a compound somewhere in Colorado where they worship Gaia, trees and snakes. The old fascist has stated that ordinary people should live in mud huts with a 15 amp lightbulb for heat, while his neo-Nazi buddies should enjoy opulence and rule the world.
Maurice is a larger and more dangerous version of Jim Jones with lots of money, connections and followers.
Somehow I missed it.

Thanks for the link. This is a topic which I find very interesting and which I expect we will hear a lot more about. I expect exposure will come from the US.
Many thanks for the link.
