Pakistan will stand by Iran in case of any aggression, Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri has said.
Talking to newsmen, Kasuri also expressed frustration that while Pakistan has shown lot of flexibility on the Kashmir issue in talks with India, there is no reciprocal movement from India on any count.
On Iran, whose foreign minister was in Islamabad last week, Kasuri said Pakistan is strongly opposed to any attack on Iran by the United States or any other country. He said Pakistan will stand by Iran in case of any aggression.
He said Iranian foreign minister's statement during his recent visit to Pakistan provides testimony to our policy towards Teheran.
Pakistan wants that the nuclear issue be resolved through dialogue according to the principles of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), he added.
He said Pakistan would continue its quest for acquiring latest technology and defence equipment at all costs to maintain a balance of power in the region.
Yeah they are going to stand by and watch Iran get its @ss kicked.
Perhaps Pakistan has decided that this public statement will help get the Iranian oli and natural gas the Paks need.
Exactly. Pakistan is not stupid enough to try and step in on Iran's behalf if the majority of the West is against them.
If we attack Iran, there will shortly be nothing of
it to stand with.

This threat means Pakistanis sell Iran a few nukes for a few billion dollars after Israel reduces the nuclear program to rubble and buries it. That Iran retaliates with these nukes. Pakistan's announcement is designed to stop Israel from attacking Iran's nuclear facilities in the first place
About the size of it.
And all FOX news can muster this morning besides the NSA non-scandal is a steady stream of filler news items.
Mussarif (sp) isn't that stupid.
Pakistan: Future parking for India (shiny, glass-lined parking lot).
I'd know where to put my money.
