Thanks for the thread. I'm feeling pretty good about this speech. The President's been out giving speeches, he's been giving interviews, and he's angry and energized.

I expect an excellent speech tonight. This will be the first televised, nationwide speech speech in a long time where he gets a bump in the polls, although that is secondary to explaining the policy to the American people and cutting through the media filter.

That's my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

I am beginning to get very curious about the decision-making at the WH on Friday. Originally I'd assumed that it was a planned speech about the successful elections in Iraq on Thursday, but now, I'm realizing the NYT article came out first thing in the a.m., I wonder if that article had anything to do with announcing a speech that they would have two days to prepare.

Inquiring minds and all....:)

But, all our questions will be answered in about, oh, *checks watch* 57 minutes, by my watch, LOL!
