Now they are debating whether we are officially at war. BOR says we aren't.
Hey, it's probably been linked before, but this was my immediate thought, about don-o's prediction thread. Here's a link:

I am beginning to get very curious about the decision-making at the WH on Friday. Originally I'd assumed that it was a planned speech about the successful elections in Iraq on Thursday, but now, I'm realizing the NYT article came out first thing in the a.m., I wonder if that article had anything to do with announcing a speech that they would have two days to prepare.
Inquiring minds and all....:)
But, all our questions will be answered in about, oh, *checks watch* 57 minutes, by my watch, LOL!
btw, time required to post doesn't count, I just did a spell check and it's 8:04 now. ;)
I haven't seen a link to audio of VP Cheney's speech to the troops in Iraq today, but would a transcript help you?
"Had to admit". I cant recall if Bush has ever come out this quickly to address something of such a nature. I think he was mad that he had to call them out on their illegal activities. Yeah he was pissed! Im pissed too.
It's about military wartime flight and the introduction of the F-22 Raptor, but there're awesome voiceovers from FDR, Churchill, Kennedy, Reagan and a LOT from Bush after 9/11 .. very moving and goosebumpy.
BO'Re is pathetic.
The judge is getting me PO'd. I am getting ready to send him an e-mail.
Lindsey Graham?
I'd think he'd be mad because (a) a bunch of sniveling little weenies at NSA broke their oaths of confidentiality to the NYT (rather than going to NSA legal counsel with their concerns), and (b) members of the House and Senate Intel Committees also broke their oaths of office in disclosing and/or acknowledging classified information to the press.
That's quite enough, the NYT does what the NYT does (even if they're wrong once again, and only a week after the "truckload of phoney ballots" story).
Have that. He has not gotten a lot of good press on the speech and I wanted to hear the interaction with the Marines myself.
If Napolitano were President we'd all be speaking Farsi by now...if we were still alive.
I'll bet you 10-1 that the Dirty 'Rats will bring up the President's supposed "illegal" order at Alito's hearing. They may even demand that he denounce it or they will filibuster.
Did you catch the Judge's parting shot: "The President is not a king"?
This judge has been getting on my nerves for months now...he jumps to conclusions way too quickly, IMO.
Well Mr. O said nothing will come of it and I hope he's wrong. I would like a full investigation and find out what loose lip traitor enjoys rubbing shoulders with the NY Slimes. Think I will google the Pfizer Law to get a better handle on what it says.
The President isn't King? hey Judge, been in contact with Reid and the Dems lately? Just curious since that line was spoken by them a few hours passed... He's a hack.
And is brit unable to be dragged back to studio? Why must we suffer O'Reilly.
Oh, now Dick Morris is commenting
Not the first time Napolitano has been wrong. Morris is explaining it now in simplified terms.
If I thought for a minute that the only ones who could get killed by a terrorist attack would be these brain dead idiots and their families, I'd say fine. But the fact is, these morons always manage to escape and they continue to endager us all.
More then enough blame to go around. President Bush was/is doing what he thinks is right to keep us safe. That's OK with me.
