Just in CNN, VP Cheney is in Iraq for a surprise visit!
Lynne probably told him it was time to air out the cave. Nice to see him out and about.

Just to be sure, I hope the VP gives Fort Marcy Park a wide berth for the foreseeable future, LOL. And make sure he doesn't take any uncontrolled plane rides.

I JUST SAW HIM on TV, but not for long enough!!! My son is about there with the Vice President as he is addressing the troops in Al-Asad. I just hope they post more pictures and I can find a clear one of him. It was on ABC News that I saw him. I am so excited!!!

I don't get what you mean about the 2 days. Of course a trip like that takes more than 2 days planning time, and during that time Hillary's spies got word back to her so she then had time to suggest the trip before Cheney actually took the trip. She's trying to make it look like Cheney took the trip on her suggestion.
The poster was concerned lest anyone fall for the notion that Cheney actually went to Iraq only because and AFTER Hillary told him to. So, the poster noted that only two days elapsed between when Hillary spoke and his trip...therefore, his trip had to have been in the works way before. It is obvious you did not fall for the "Hillary caused it" nonsense, so maybe that is why you are puzzled by the poster's comments??

Why they ever let Matlin near the WH is beyond me. She talks a good talk when she has to but the situation has moved way beyond trusting someone in her personal position. How could we trust anyone who marries and breeds with the snake?
OMG! I didn't realize the Secretary of Treasury is in line ahead of Secretary of Defense. That's goofy in my book considering the circumstances that this would happen under.
Putting people at risk is small potatoes after she's put people to death to promote her agenda.
Mary Matlin hasn't been Cheney's aid for some time now. So, she wouldn't have rec'd knowledge of the Iraq visit.
Wow! Yeah I know how exciting it is to see a person you know/family member on tv with a national figure, or a big occasion! I remember when Pres. Kennedy's funeral services were on tv years ago. My Dad was one of the U.S. Marines in the cathedral acting as ushers. Mom said we could watch, and see if we could see him! I can't remember if we did at that time.
However years later, during a memorial on tv in Nov. (you know those they have every once in awhile); she swore up and down that she saw him then! My Grandma(his mom)was still alive then, and Mom called and told her what she saw, and where. Well Grandma watched it, and she saw the scene Mom saw. They were both all excited! An usher who looked an awfully lot like Dad was guiding a foreign guest to his seat. So, I can surely see what you mean! :)
