SoldiersPrayingMom just phoned me in tears to report that Sgt. Greg Parkinson (jmpmstr4u2) had been injured in the explosion of an improvised explosive device.
The Department of Defense called Greg's wife, Tammy, to inform her of the injury just after midnight California Time. They told her that he had been evacuated to a field hospital, that he had all of his limbs, but that he has injuries in his left arm and back.
SoldiersPrayingMom requests all Freepers to pray for healing and complete recovery. Pray for his Mom and Dad, Ruth (SoldiersPrayingMom) and Jim Parkinson, Greg's wife, Tammy, and his two daughters who face uncertainties and fear for his condition. Greg and his family need all of your prayers and support.

Jmpmstr4u2 was injured today in Iraq in the explosion of an improvised explosive device when his vehicle hit the IED. Current reports are that he is alive, has all of his limbs, but was injured in his left arm and back. Your Prayers are needed now to ask God to guide the hands of the surgeons in his treatment, for Greg's full recovery, and his safe return to his family.
Pass the prayer request on at your churches and to your email addressees. Let's send Greg all the best wishes and prayers we can muster.
