That's their own doing, for having skills that can easily be replaced. And, no one (other than Howard Dean and Co.) is stopping them from making lemonade out of that batch of lemons.

But, in your view, the government MUST do something about it, right? No room for self-initiative...

You just quoted the historically low unemployment figures. How do you reconcile the two? In my opinion, those whose jobs are outsourced lose little time in getting another.

Outsourcing amounts to about one percent of total job losses nationwide. Many more are created. It's called "creative destruction". Or capitalism.
