Me too. I'll bet it would quietly fry eggs. One thing's for sure, it wasn't this look:
Probably more like this:
Or even more like this:
According to the article, "Cheney . . . looked at Clinton but didn't respond to her remark."
I'd love to see a photo of that 'look'!"
This is what you might 'see' in it: "Damn, some disloyal POS leaked news of my impending visit to this stupid, evil cow so she could publicly jump in front of me with it and make it seem that I am being led by her."
Fortunately, that'll go over like a lead balloon nationally :)
Run, Hillie, run...
I rarely watch the weekend crew as Julian infuriates me to no end. He's convinced that the spying directed by the President immediately after 9-11 was the wrong thing to do. As pointed out by a brighter mind, Charles Krauthammer mentioned on Special Report last night that an urgent need existed. The courts that grant this power allow better than 99% of the searches/spying to be conducted. The government knew they would get approval, yet time must have been a critical factor in these instances.
Who had 1000 FBI files for over a year?
Cheney should tell Hillary to go play with her B.O.B. and leave the business of running the Government to the Grown-ups.
Maybe Cheney will offer Hillary some advice like he did Leahy.
I don't know what the Veep's response was, but I can tell you what I would have said to the Witch in his shoes:
"You're absolutely right. I should visit our troops in Iraq. Somebody needs to tell them that not all Americans are hoping, like you and your party do, that we lose there. Further, I'll tell them that except for a minority, comprised mostly of leftwing kooks like yourself, we support and pray for them everyday.
"I WILL go to Iraq, and I will try my damned best to bolster their morale, not undercut it like you did when you badmouthed the war to soldiers faces, and troops from New York had to be ordered to sit with you for dinner. Thank you for the idea, Mrs. Clinton."
Excellent proposal-President visits troops in combat zone, just like every previous president has done........NOT!
That one sentence from Hillary should be enough to bring back her leftwing kook base.
Good one ;-D
If you wondered which side Old Rupert and his news divisions will be on in 2008. The NYPOST just informed you.
Ohhh, so would I! Actually, the troops would be very happy to meet with VP Cheney, unlike being forced to shake hands with the devil.
Hillary: "Mr. Vice President, you should go to Iraq and see the people there and what is going on for yourself."
VP Cheney: "What an excellant idea junior senator from New York, would your husband like to go with me or is he too busy stabbing our country in the back? Maybe you can get Mr.Kennedy or Mr. Leahy to travel with me as the troops need bigger targets, ooops, I meant more support, from your party!"
It is bad when war is managed from the White House and worse when congress tries to get in on it. That's the real lesson of Vietnam.
LOL. Great photo. I wouldn't want to get between that cat and a bowl of milk ;-)
