CNN did this in exchange for being sodomized by Saddam.

Don't know if they actually took money for it though.

Took money? Those fools pay to be reamed by petty thugs and America bashers.

OK, so he didn't break any laws. Therefore the word 'corruption' doesn't apply in any legal sense.

Just wanted to clear that up.

Or the real question, did he do something unlibertarian?

I always thought that this was the way PR firms got the job done. You pay the PR firm to write good stuff about you. The PR firm pays the news guys to write it or they give a packaged story to the editor of the section you want it covered in. Good press starts popping up about how wonderful you are. How else did Clinton get elected, Meryl Streep get a part in a movie, gay issues get on the front page, no talent hacks sing at the Super Bowl halftime showetc.?

It's a shame you feel that way. I'm registered Republican but I voted libertarian over Bush in 04. When there is a but a hair's difference between GOP in power & the Dems in power - it's time for a change. I may not agree with the libertarians on the drug/illegal alien issue, but I agree on a lot else. Is one supposed to agree with every position on a party platform? Do you agree 100% with NCLB, McFG, Medicare....

Funny, how these other aspects of McCain's politics never come under any scrutiny; not even as a curious question on a Sunday morning. . .
