Thanks to her handicap, my late first wife had a serious temperature-regulating problem, and the only thing that would keep her warm in the winter was fur.
We tried every natural and man-made substance available, but the only thing that worked was fur.
She wore coats outside, and had a bunny-rabbit blanket for indoors.

In my travels I've noticed that the hostility to fur decreases proportionately to the decreases in temperature in the cold months. Higher latitute = less anti fur attitude

I like the smooth, sleek, look of mink, and I'd love a knee length coat, however, I'll likely never get one because I want to move South and stay there! Maybe a knee length leather coat instead; not too warm.
Yes!! I'm tired of freezing! I recently got a fur lined coat and can comfortably wander about in below freezing weather now. It's comfort, not fashion that I'm after.
