...to "arrogant and corrupt governments," that is. That means, of course, that he is advocating the replacement of the non-Islamic governments of the world by Islamic regimes. From UPI, with thanks to Mackie:

TEHRAN -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said humanity suffers from arrogant and corrupt governments, stressing Islam was the solution to the world's suffering. Speaking Thursday at the city of Nikashahr in southeast Iran, Ahmadinejad said, "We see injustice everywhere in the world, as decisions to displace peoples and kill civilians are taken easily while arms factories compete to produce more lethal weapons," the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported....

Did you spot the inconsistency? He rails against killing civilians while wanting to wipe out Israel? No problem: he almost certainly doesn't regard Israelis as civilians. Any Israelis.

"Humanity is suffering from arrogant and corrupt governments and the only means for salvaging humanity is the implementation of Islam which meets all the needs of humans in terms of justice, prosperity, pride and peace for all humanity," he added.

Those who have identified him are very certain. The administration said (originally) that they didn't think that he was the same individual in the photographs that those who were accusing him were pointing to as evidence. I've seen the photograph and it does not look like Ahmadinejad, although I certainly could be wrong. But he was involved, whether he is the man in the photograph or not.

If you think Islam is doomed, then I suggest you pay very close attention to American Muslim organizations. We have a long way to go before we see the end of Islam. Unfortunately.

Islam as it is and what they believe is a poverty causing, tyranny creating, human rights offending cult like religion that will NEVER be healthy. It is a cancer and not a peaceful religion of any kind.
Any place you have Islamic controlled societies you get women suffering and lots of tyranny.

It will never be a success because it has evil at it's core. You can't abuse women with approval and ever have a healthy culture. They are a cancer and unless they make major changes regarding their ways I do see WW3, radical Islam against the modern world.

Poverty and tyranny are the fruits of Islam. I see no good come from it at all.

Islam should change their name to "The Children Of The Corn" IMO, it suits them more realistically.
