Well, looks like some MSM reporters haven't lost their research skills, after all :)
I am not just GIVING my vote to a republican simply because he or she is a republican. I will vote for NO democrat, period. If the republican running against that socialist is no better, then I will simply not vote for either. I will be damned if I will vote for them simply because they are the "lesser of two evils." Evil is evil, no matter what. I will not just give away my vote. If you are going to do that, then why bother becoming educated on the issues, person, etc. Just vote by hitting a block without really reading and go on. Makes no difference. No, I will not simply vote for a stinking RINOcrat because he/she is a republican.
The other option not mentioned in my previous, was not voting for either candidate, in which case that option defaults to the election results and you then have to Monday morning quarterback the results. If, by being hard nosed with your vote the evil candidate gains office and the lesser of two evils loses, then you have allowed evil to prevail when the lesser of two evils would indeed have been less evil. In that case would not the lesser be better?
I know where you are coming from, however, the razor thin margins of recent elections, indicate to me that it isn't going to take much lack of party loyalty, to swing elections one way or the other. Historically the dems seem to place a bit more stock in party loyalty than principled republicans who seem to be only too willing to punish the party the candidate, and ultimately the rest of us and the country when and if the election pendulum swings for the evil party.
Thanks for the clarification, my FRiend. I should've pinged you but thought you weren't around much anymore.
You can vote your way and I will vote mine. NO POLITICIAL is getting my VOTE GIVEN TO THEM. I don't give nothing away. In my humble opinion, THEY HAVE TO EARN IT. It does not come free for the taking!! You do it your way and I will continue to do it mine. Then we both can feel the way we want to about it.
They are the "party of tolerance and diversity" after all...
Let me put it as simply as I can for you:
The DEMS claimed that a Republican was spreading rumors, but the reality was that it was a DEM spreading the rumors.
THE DEMS made a big brou-ha-ha over it, and never bothered looking at who really was spreading the rumors.
Turns out it was one of their own.
Of course, you knew that, right?
ping
You the MAN.
*snort* You GO, honey!
LOL
