I am not just GIVING my vote to a republican simply because he or she is a republican. I will vote for NO democrat, period. If the republican running against that socialist is no better, then I will simply not vote for either. I will be damned if I will vote for them simply because they are the "lesser of two evils." Evil is evil, no matter what. I will not just give away my vote. If you are going to do that, then why bother becoming educated on the issues, person, etc. Just vote by hitting a block without really reading and go on. Makes no difference. No, I will not simply vote for a stinking RINOcrat because he/she is a republican.

The other option not mentioned in my previous, was not voting for either candidate, in which case that option defaults to the election results and you then have to Monday morning quarterback the results. If, by being hard nosed with your vote the evil candidate gains office and the lesser of two evils loses, then you have allowed evil to prevail when the lesser of two evils would indeed have been less evil. In that case would not the lesser be better?

I know where you are coming from, however, the razor thin margins of recent elections, indicate to me that it isn't going to take much lack of party loyalty, to swing elections one way or the other. Historically the dems seem to place a bit more stock in party loyalty than principled republicans who seem to be only too willing to punish the party the candidate, and ultimately the rest of us and the country when and if the election pendulum swings for the evil party.
