I know someone that works for Riki.

I think it was Elliot Randall's solo on 'Reelin'.

Yes, if I remember correctly Skunk was on the O'Reilly Factor about 4 or 5 years ago. I remember him mildly renouncing the liberal views of his former band-mates.

Actually, Hedy Lamarr invented the idea of frequency-hopping, which is a widely-used method for secure radio comm.
Here is a writeup....
Perhaps it's only coincidence that Ms. Lamarr was known for her habit of bed-hopping (and lack of discrimination about the sex of her partners....)

I rate Reelin' in the Years' guitar solo as in the top 10 of all time, along with Comfortably Numb, Hotel California, etc.Not sure if he did the solo on "Reelin in the Years," but I think he did do the solo at the end of "Boddhisatvah" which is my fave solo from those early Dan records. He also played the pedal steel, he did some beautiful work on "Pearl of the Quarter."

I remember him mildly renouncing the liberal views of his former band-mates. Good to know some entertainment figures get it (like Gary Sinise).

I think his guitar solos for Steely Dan are as good as they get.

Reelin in the years was Elliot Randall. Bodhisattva is a great solo- (Jeff's is 2nd solo- ist solo is Denny Dias). FWIW~My favorite solo of Jeff's in My Old School.

Baxter was on the third Ultimate Spinach disc, the one that's hard to get.
Ah yes, Boston trying to compete with San Francisco!
Behold and See, it didn't work too well.

Stampede by far is the best DB album ever. You could really hear how much better the Doobies sounded when Skunk joined them. Too bad Tommy had to leave the band afterwards.
