Only in Travis Co. (Austin) could have the 32% been higher, likely 92%.

I thought Rasmussen was smarter than this.
You can 30% positive responces to almost any question if you word it right.
The question - Should Bush fire Attorney General John Ashcroft would poll at about 30%.

Should the Secretary of Education resign if half of all students have below average test scores?

If only President Bush had come out strongly for defense of America's borders and the booting out of ALL illegals he'd be nearly perfect.

No need for a poll, I could have told them that. There's a rock bottom third of the country that is absolutely insane. These are the people who would have voted for bill clinton if he raped a woman on prime-time TV. They would have voted for him if he raped a child on prime-time TV.

They would have voted for him if he raped Juanita Broaddrick and it was announced on TV. Oh, wait. . . .

I've been in Texas since October, and I've heard stories about Austin...

The question - Should Bush fire Attorney General John Ashcroft would poll at about 30%.

I'm almost tempted to take that one to the local mall. Seeing as I am in New England; I'll bet I could get above 50 - 55% supporting Ashcroft's dismissal.

Yeah what Kinda poll is that.

Why not poll something important like "Should FREE BEER be a constitutional Right?".

32% probably represents the hard left wing of the Democrat PArty.

Too bad they don't have a mark or something on their foreheads so we can identify them.

These are the Kool-Aid drinkers who never could believe that F*#$%@%@ John Kerry or Algore could POSSIBLY have lost the election.

The percentage would have been higher, but they didn't get a full response from DU so they had to actually poll some real Americans.

Fine! Let's do a Murtha call. Let's impeach Bush. Then try him in the Senate, exonerate him, and be done with it.

if the Dems take over Congress in 2006, they will move on this.

it just goes to show - a good number of americans aren't just politically opposed to what most of us believe here, they are living in an alternative world, with their own set of what is true and what isn't. and its the MSM that has brainwashed them.

Do you know how many supported Clinton's impeachment?

Question: As you may know, removing a president from office involves two major steps. First, the House of Representatives must vote on whether there is enough evidence to bring a president to trial before the Senate. This step is called impeachment. Next, the Senate must vote on whether to remove a president from office or not. What would you want your member of the House of Representatives to do: vote in favor of impeaching Clinton and sending the case to the Senate for trial, or vote against impeachment of Clinton?

Your U.S. Representative Should Vote...

All Likely Americans Voters For impeachment 34% 41%

Against impeachment 62 55

Sampling error: +/-4% pts

Question: If the House does vote to impeach Clinton and send the case to the Senate for trial, what would you want your Senators to do: vote in favor of convicting Clinton and removing him from office, or vote against convicting Clinton so he will remain in office?

Your U.S. Senators Should Vote...

All Likely Americans Voters

For removing Clinton from office 31% 35%

Against removing Clinton from office 63 58

Sampling error: +/-4% pts

This was from a CNN poll for what it's worth.

Impeachment is a non starter.. only the rabid commies are fighting for it, and if they ever try they will alienate more folks than they will appease, leaving even more of them removed from office in the next election cycle....

Thank you. I assume that this push is from the more rapid of the 60+% who did not want a Clinton impeachment. Tit for tat.

I have to call bullsh*t on this poll. 84% of Republicans are against impeachment, meaning 16% are FOR it? I really doubt that. Sounds like more poll-driven nonsense.
