William Greene, President of the conservative online activist organization RightMarch.com, is announcing his groups intentions to run a new television ad designed to tell the truth about the success of Americas mission in Iraq.
The new 30 second spot titled "Bush Was Right features a song from the conservative Nashville band "The Right Brothers and reflects on the positive impact America has had on the war on terror as a result of the 2003 liberation of Iraq.
"Saddam is gone, Iraq is free, Libya has renounced its nuclear program, said William Greene, President of RightMarch.com. "Americans, especially young Americans, need to know that our efforts in Iraq have had some very real and positive results. Its not gloom and doom as you read in the mainstream press, and it certainly is not the time to cut and run as the left so desperately wants us to do.
The "Bush Was Right ad may be previewed at http://www.rightmarch.com/bwrad.htm
RightMarch is planning to launch the "Bush Was Right ad nationwide on FOX News and MTV. The ad is part of a larger campaign to reach out to Americas young people with the other side of the Iraq debate the right side.
The campaign also includes a challenge to MTV to air a "Bush Was Right music video on their program "Total Request Live.
"Lets rock and roll, concluded Greene.
We wanted a conservative to put his money where his mouth was and this guy did. Big time bump to him.

...because the US Media Doesn't Report This !
The problem: 99% of computer users use the Windows Media player. The remaining 1% use Realplayer.
Nobody uses Quicktime. Nobody has their computer setup to even see the film at the website. I actually have Quicktime on my computer...but the film as downloaded won't play because I don't have the required compression settings.
Porn is easier to watch than this ad. Not that I would know anything about that.

As with Vietnam and the way we allowed China to save face by our "throwing the game" after we secured China's cooperation in 1972...I have a strong feeling that Bush and the media have an "understanding" that the media will be on the side of the terrorists as long as they don't do much outside of Iraq. Al Jazeera is supposed to slowly accept reality for instance. And then Bush, via Fox News Rupert Murdoch, actually helps Hillary to win in 2008...and the remaining anti-American arabs claim victory...from their democracies.
Our left allows our enemies to save face. It is annoying...but there is a twisted logic in having 40% of your own people "on the side of the enemy" as long as the enemy knows that there are behavioral restraints that come with that 40% support.

I am wondering if there is any historical perspective on this. During the Mithridates War on Terror the Roman Republic expanded almost against its will toward the east (the Romans' 9-11 was when Mithridates slaughtered 100,000 Romans living in present day Turkey). But the Romans were split on fighting this war on terror I believe? Does anyone have perspective on this?
I understand Victor Hanson's "A War Like No Other" deals with the subject of Athenians arguing with each other when they were supposed to fighting for their very existence?
bttt
How many people really don't even have Quicktime on their computer? They may not use it a lot, but they have it.
I gave up on trying to download it. Three times and still nothing.
Bump!
Wow, no I didn't know all of these things were happening in Iraq. Where did you manage to get this list? We should spread this around.
"Wow, no I didn't know all of these things were happening in Iraq. Where did you manage to get this list? We should spread this around.'
ANSWER: THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE WEB SITE.
Thanks for that info. Pretty cool.
Can you narrow it down a little tighter than "DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE WEB SITE?" I looked all over www.dod.mil and don't see that list anywhere. Even searching doesn't show it.
And I can't run the Quicktime movie either. Supposedly it needs a component that's not on the Quicktime website.
The video there is also in Quick Time format...so, despite having Quick Time, I only get the audio :-(

You don't think Bill Gates would allow an "Apple" product to run well on his operating systems do you?
If so, I have a bridge in Brooklyn in my sales inventory.
Competent musical artists and PR agencies will create alternate file types such as the .wmv that will play on any Microsoft machine.
This Quick Time movie will not play on my Quick Time software because of a compression issue that I know is happening to the majority of FReepers who are also trying t view it.
You have to update Quicktime; unfortunately they make you download itunes for Windows in order to get it...You can immediately uninstall itunes and the updated Quicktime support will remain.
Hmmmm....I see that happening right around the time they're shoveling all that snow off the sidewalks in Hell. ;-)
