Obviously, one hopes he isn't attacked or murdered. But giving him or others like him political asylum on this basis isn't a good idea. Let Canada have him.

The court panel ruled that Zimbabwe authorities reacted to Kimumwe's conduct, not necessarily his homosexuality, and noted that he had admitted getting the other student drunk in the second case. They should have added that choosing to engage in disordered and unhealthy activities, e.g. homosexual activities, is objectively endangering ones health and risking ones life --The dangers inherent to disordered activities one chooses to pursue can only be avoided by avoiding the disordered activities themselves NOT by doing them somewhere else...

Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe declared homosexuality illegal in 1998, and is reported to have called gays "lower than pigs and dogs." I'm utterly amazed. There's something that Mugabe and I agree on!
