Indians and Pakis are not the same people (the difference is Islam). The British bombings, the first WTC bombing, terrorists in Afghanistan, etc are all Paki creations. You'll never find Indians revolting against the country they live in....Pakis, on the other hand, do this all the time.

Second, the fact that Indians don't assimilate is pure slander and is based on your stereotyped impressions of one neighbour (whose antecendents you are not even aware of). So much for your opinions.

Go back, do some research, and you'll find out that there are no India Towns in nthe US (unlike China towns). I'll post official USG statistics that show the sucess and assimilation of Indians in US society but I don't think the truth is going to change your mind.

Here is one lesson that you can take out of this post: Indians and Pakis (and Arabs) are NOT the same. Repeat after me....

While Indians do assimilate easily, it's not true to say there aren't areas where you settle in large numbers and create effective India towns. There's nothing wrong with that, everyone wants to live near people they have a common history and interests with. In Jersey City and Edison, New Jersey, as well as parts of Queens, you have Indian neighborhoods.

The reason why there isn't Indian towns in the US is because the population is still small compared to other minorities or Asians in general.

In Austin, there are already clusters of Indian/Paki food stores, restaurants (which is where the "towns" are based on).
