Thank you so much for posting this, concretebob! I'm going to send it to our son and I know he will share it with his "battle buddies", some of whom are still serving in Iraq. :) chena

You are the definition of decency, the embodiment of excellence, and the meaning of strength.
Your presence abroad is securing our safety at home.I wish I could send those two sentences to every member of the US Armed Forces.

Thank you, CB. I enjoyed reading that. Almost as much as listening to the Iraqi voter Betty D.

Up late again?
I'm working on the report, but it probably won't be done til Wed night or Thur morning. I've got to attend to some urgent estate matters.
Do you have your cell phone ringer fixed? With your land line tied up dialing in your internet connection, reaching you by phone is near impossible til you get that ringer fixed.
Say hi to Romeo for me.

Finally I found someone experienced in that model and he went in and activated the ring...it did have something to do with those weird marks on the upper right side.
Up writing letters to all the politicians asking for help with the insurance claim...Nationwide has now put a short time limit on me after waiting 15 months to respond themselves!

I watch our lads in Iraq with great satisfaction.
One thing is for sure. If we lose this one it will not because our people on the sharp end have failed in their duty, but because those of us at home have failed in ours.
Our people over there are not all "lads" in age. A Marine I know is coming home soon. He is pushing 60 years of age (as am I). He picked up a load of fragments from a roadside bomb a while back. Went back to his unit when he could walk. Marines are special in my heart.

Dang it, bob! This is the third monitor I've gone through this special day. They keep getting all bleary on me! I
hate it when that happens!
For yet ANOTHER great article/thread, go HERE and learn about an award-winning soldier and patriot!
If you've already been pinged to that one -- oh, what the heck! Read it again! ;o)

If it's the same Joe Wilson I'm thinking of, he's my ex-Congressman. R-2nd District, South Carolina. Great guy and I'm proud to have voted for him...and happy that I just barely lived in his district, and not over the line in the district of the execrable race pimp Jim Clyburn (D-6th).
