The January 2006 issue of Vanity Fair includes the magazine's 2005 Best of the Best -- "Heroes! Winners! Guilty Pleasures!" -- feature. Among those honored are the cast of ABC's "Lost," chosen as "Best Find"; the cast of FX's "Nip/Tuck," chosen as "Best Lift"; and aging rockers Sir Bob Geldof and Bono, chosen as "Best Ambassadors." But the choice that catches the eye -- and the breath -- is in the "Best Stand" category. In a two-page spread, winner Cindy Sheehan is photographed lying full length in the grass at her son Casey's grave at the Vacaville-Elimira Cemetery in Vacaville, California:

When Cindy first came on the scene in August, I initially felt very sorry for her. She seemed to be seriously unwell and it was sad to see her having a nervous breakdown in public while being promoted by others for their own political ends. But as time has gone on, I've lost most of my sympathy for her. The woman is an attention whore and seems more focused on promoting herself than on mourning for and honoring her son.

She defintely has a serious incestuous psychological problem with Casey. It is glaringly obvious in this photo.
This woman was enmeshed with her son, he finally got away from her and now she is conflicted between her feelings of attachment and her rage at him leaving her. Laying on his grave is way over the top!
The tragedy is she has no clue how disgusting her behavior is.

This woman is allowed to be a nut. She lost a son. The true monsters are those who elevate and enable her. They are not only sick, but blind as well. They don't realize that they are making those who are still sane in the gimmicrat party flee. This is not to say that they will vote for the opposition party, but they won't support the gimmicrats anymore. A vote for a gimmicrat is a vote for, well, see for yourself.
The flowers in the 2 pictures look different to me...tulips in the 2nd pic but flowers in the 1st pic less sculptured. Am I wrong?

After my Dad died two years ago I noticed that a young police officer was using the entrance to the graveyard for a speed trap,I layed into him good....boy,if any of my family members were in that photo of Cindy
IT isn't a downer to share your thoughts. I am sorry for your loss- I really can not imagine the pain that you must feel. I can understand not wanting to move and feeling drawn in by your daughters memories. I would imagine I would feel much the same way. I guess the trick to living ,after the loss of a child ,is to etch out some happiness for yourself- and to know that one will really understand it all anyway- only you. Perhaps that is what Cindy is doing- but in her case she puts other mother's children in harms way with her careless remarks and her rock star attitude. And she enables the people who killed her son.
