I would suspect that the President and his Advisors probably think he will reach a wider audience appearing on NBC.

Not everyone has cable and even if they do there are many that would not watch FNC such as Democrats, uncommitted or not politically interested. Notice I use these terms rather than Independent IMHO there are few Independents rather uninterested or people that change their views and opinions with the wind.

True, they plan to air it in MSNBC & CNBC also, besides NBC nightly news. My only anger is that they edit to suit their bias. I hope WH puts up the complete transcript on their site.
