I believe McCain gave ship positions to the enemy.
All the DemonicRats realize they need a new set of Goal Posts, but are having a hard time agreeing on where it should be....pretty obvious that Joe hasn't done well with his choices.
Is this the same fantasy as Murtha's 80% of the Iraqi's want us to leave now.
LOL..."All the DemonicRats realize they need a new set of Goal Posts, but are having a hard time agreeing on where it should be"
These are the same guys who always want to change the rules in the middle of the vote counting.......maybe they need to find another game?
FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE MADELEINE ALBRIGHT
Secretary Of State Madeleine Albright Said Saddam "Had The Capability With The VX Agents To Destroy Every Man, Woman And Child On Earth." ALBRIGHT: "Weapons of mass destruction are the threat of the future. I think the president explained very clearly to the American people that this is the threat of the 21st century. It's hard to control, hard to get at, that we need to â you know, Saddam Hussein had the capability with the VX agents to destroy every man, woman and child on earth. So we have a serious problem here. He is a threat." (PBS' The Newshour With Jim Lehrer, 12/17/98)
Albright: "[W]e Are Concerned, As The President Said, About [Saddam's] Ability In The Long Run To Threaten His Neighbors, And Frankly, To Threaten All Of Us With Weapons Of Mass Destruction." (CNN's "Larry King Live," 12/16/98)
Albright Accused Saddam Of Pursuing Dual Threats To International Peace: Terrorism And Weapons Of Mass Destruction. ALBRIGHT: "Countering terror is one aspect of our struggle to maintain international security and peace. Limiting the dangers posed by weapons of mass destruction is a second. Saddam Hussein's Iraq encompasses both of these challenges, while posing yet a third. .. As we look ahead, we will decide how and when to respond to Iraq's actions based on the threat they pose to Iraq's neighbors, to regional security and to U.S. vital interests. Our assessment will include Saddam's capacity to reconstitute, use or threaten to use weapons of mass destruction." (Madeleine Albright, Remarks At The American Legion Convention, New Orleans, LA, 9/9/98)
Albright: "[Saddam] Has Chosen To Spend His Money On Building Weapons Of Mass Destruction And Palaces For His Cronies." (Madeleine Albright, Remarks To The Chicago Council On Foreign Relations, Chicago, IL, 11/12/99)
Albright Justified A December 1998 Attack On Iraq As A Way To Increase America's Security And "Deal With The Threat" Of Saddam's Weapons. ALBRIGHT: "President Clinton felt very strongly that it was in our national security interest to deal with the threat that Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction, their capability, their future capability of threatening us, the neighbors, the regional stability with them, and that we had a responsibility as the United States to deal with a threat of this kind." (CNN's "Early Edition," 12/18/98)
Albright Argued Saddam's Pursuit Of Weapons Of Mass Destruction And His Insistence On Lifting Economic Sanctions Was An "Incompatible Position." ALBRIGHT: "The purpose of it ... is to degrade Saddam Hussein's ability to develop and deliver weapons of mass destruction, and to degrade his ability to threaten his neighbors. And the targets are related to that. They're going after weapons of mass destruction facilities, after military facilities, command and control security. ... [T]his is because Saddam Hussein has insisted that he wants to keep his weapons of mass destruction and have sanctions lifted, a clearly incompatible position." (NBC's Today, 12/18/98)
Albright Said The Risk That Rogue State Leaders Like Saddam "Will Use Nuclear, Chemical Or Biological Weapons Against Us Or Our Allies Is The Greatest Security Threat We Face." ALBRIGHT: "Iraq is a long way from [America], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risk that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face. And it is a threat against which we must and will stand firm. In discussing Iraq, we begin by knowing that Saddam Hussein, unlike any other leader, has used weapons of mass destruction even against his own people." (CNN's "Showdown With Iraq: International Town Meeting," 2/18/98)
Hi fellas....Johnnie, I am sorry that I haven't been around to get pithy, witty, and wise...in order to streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch the thread longer....
I got to go to the mall and stand in line for 3 HOURS to get my 10 month old granddaughter's picture taken....
NOW, tell me you guys are jealous!!!
Anyway, I prolly won't have time to read the whole thread...but, I am sure there were a lot of "hot sports opinions"...with the line-ups.
Just got home and saw your post...
You are so right...supposedly one of the main reasons that Bin Ladin attacked us was because of our base in Saudi Arabia...but,.
NOW, Murtha and Dean want us to do the same thing...only they are picking Kuwait or Syria?
PUH-leeeze.
It will be on this Wednesday and I thought he said 6:00 p.m.
No, I think he's talking about Congressman Duncan Hunter. He was on Harball last week and took Crissy apart. He left him SPEECHLESS.
Graham seems confused on Iraq. Saying that Iraq is worse than is being said insults the intelligence of many Americans. If you like Graham take the MSM line Iraq is a mess, but look how many third world countries are even worse. If you look at where the terror attacks are you will see that Iraq is for the most part stable for most of the people and only in the mainly Sunni areas in the west of the country is there combat. No situation is perfect but it seems some want to make what is happening in Iraq to be worse that it is.
Yep, I'd like to know that too. No one called me, lol! And I emailed Sen Graham's office in SUPPORT of the WOT. (I did not receive an email reply, I might add)
Take that back! Frist was good today, especially with his remarks on nuclear option of dems filibuster Alito.
John Kerry is their #1 war hero. That speaks volumes about the dems and the war heroes they've dug up.
Now we know where all those journalists got the term
"War Hawk"
What am I missing here??????????? The fall of Baghdad was our objective, was it not?
I`m watching the rerun of Jump on Bush with Tim Russet.
Don`t you wish you could listen to them when they try to figure out why nobody cares what they say.
thank you
I saw the same thing. He sounded like a regular hawk. Very convincing - if someone was completely unfamiliar with his previous sell-outs.
