"The people we are fighting in Iraq are the same people who were responsible for 9/11, the bombing of our embassies in East Africa, the USS Cole, WTC I, Madrid, London, Bali, etc."
Excellent reply kabar, worth quoting word for word!!
alot of background noise and he was the lounge singer
Yes, I saw it last night. I was this week. Sounded like people in the audience were talking out loud. Not interested.
Please God, let him remain in his position!
What about the 500 tons of uranium that was founf after the invasion? 1.7 tons of this uranium was enriched uranium.
The only way the Iraq War would be justified in these people's minds is AFTER thousands of Americans have died. Oh, that already happened. What are they, NUTS!?
I have been befuddled by the GOP's lack of responses and failures to be armed with facts --- but I hasten to post that, as I don't want to be accused of painting with a broad brush --- again.
Murtha was an unindicted co conspirator in ABSCAM.
"Lindsey Graham is a putz"
I cannot understand why conservatives cannot get someone better than this putz given the conservative proclivities of South Carolina. It seems that he got his behind handed to him over the sellout on fillibusters, now he turns around and runs toward the wrong goal line again.
Keeping in mind that Graham and McCain are best buds!
LOL
"I certainly hope that Rove is calling some of these Republicans and taking them to task. Or holding seminars and giving them talking points.....
I agree Peach, anytime GWB can spare with Karl Rove for "tv and interview" prep would be good.
This is what I don't get. Freepers have more info at their disposal than Republican Congressmen, it seems. Why don't our guys argue these facts?
Even the staunch conservatives who make it on radio and television shows - I can't think of ONE that makes some of these arguments regarding WMD and AQ/Iraq relationship. Have you ever heard one make these arguments?
Is the left nuts? Yeah, but also unpatriotic and willing to say or do anything to regain power so they can lead us to where most Americans don't want to go. The left envisions a socialist country, aligned with Europe, where they are the leaders without being held accountable or responsible for their actions.
Graham is now and was always a wind up toy for mccain and hagel. He reminds me of the movie toy soldiers. mccain winds him and he spits out his bullsh-t.
I've heard Robert Martin twice on L.A. talk radio. He is a powerful voice for why Tookie must be executed.
I know what you mean. If we try to get folks out of denial that there's a problem here, we get cremated on FR.
And if we're in denial on FR that there's a problem, then we aren't being activists.
"Murtha, the man who advised slick willie to cut and run from Somalia when our Rangers were murdered?"
sad sigh.....yes, the same.
I'll bet she is
I'm thinking that Russert has that table raised every so often to make pussies like Graham look even smaller. And the image of Graham next to Albright is all you need to know about Graham. She's a known goof. He is too as far as I'm concerned.
I know that Graham is campaigning to be McCain's VP, but he did write a letter not too long ago about the relationship between Iraq/AQ and now he says he was wrong.
Does he think this makes him look smarter and more popular with the moderates who would even think about voting for a Republican? It makes him look like an idiot.
