I HATE the media. No, we hate the media. Chew some more media nuggets:
***** Another Washington editor Kate Phillips, the number-two editor in the bureau was fired.
***** Revolving door - Josh Howard , former CBS 60 min.fame [Bush's TANG] join CNBC as Vice President. Anti-american BBC host Adrian Finighan joins CNN. ABC Nightline reporter Dave Marash joins AL JAZEERA.
***** Maria Bartiromo [CNBC]'s agent met Fox's Roger Ailes. She 's a smart conservative.
***** Jim Matthews is to run for Pennsylvania lieutenant governor. He is a solid conservative, the good-one as Bush said and brother of Chris Mathews.
***** Washington Post executive editor Len Downie & Assistant Managing Editor Bob Woodward are bitterly fighting in private and in public.
***** Mathews' show regular BBC's Katty Kay was last week discussing about Alito's "anti-abortion" views. She is going on "maternity" leave [!]. Sometimes, BBC reports Pro-life stories too.. *****
Cheney kicked the press out so nobody's intimidated by the presence of the cameras and cracked: 'It always makes my day.' The soldiers laughed heartily as the reporters slunk away." - Bill Sammon's pool report.

Washington Whispers
Alito Backlash in the Works
The GOP team working with the White House to win confirmation of conservative Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito is putting out a warning to Alito's Democratic critics: Question his ethics and character at your own peril. In their sights: Sens. Edward Kennedy and Joe Biden. "We're absolutely prepared to have an ethics debate with Teddy Kennedy," says one insider who mentioned the "C" word: Chappaquiddick. "Questioning Alito's credibility and character will be hit back hard," said one of the Alito supporters.

It's bad enough that we haven't found WMD and the left has turned that into something malicious, but letting the lie stand about the relationship between Iraq/AQ is provable and there is no reason to let that particular lie stand. Re-read the Duefler report

Lindsay did say that the ad should be pulled. That just means that it is incredibly effective, which is why we are hearing all of the squealing. Music to my ears.

Graham thinks anything that doesn't have the approval of the Gang of 14 is too partisan.

David Brooks thinks it would be good for the dems to have some control.
I also thought he said many Republicans are secretly hoping for the Dems to regain control of at least one Chamber, so they could re-experience the 'abolute power corrupts absolutely'.

For that matter, the Republicans should educate themselves on answering the WMD question too.
There are plenty of intelligence experts who think the WMD were sent to Syria and they have satellite video to back up their assessment.
The Deulfer Report was amended to include the statements that it's quite possible, based on credible sources, that Saddam sent his WMD to Syria before 3/03.

We are not familiar with the term in Britain of Happy Holidays people tend to say Happy or Merry Christmas or nothing at all. Mainly when they say nothing I think it is because they are stressed out with all the pressure of the Christmas shoppers. I was in MacDonald's yesterday and a customer in front of me was rather sarcastic to girl serving him because she looked very miserable and did not speak. He said "and a Merry Christmas to you" really sarcastically when he had gone she turned to her colleague and said "if he worked here you would not feel like wishing people a Merry Christmas."

I wrote a letter to the editor about the amendment to the Duelfer Report; it seems Republican Congressman either don't know what's in the report or don't have the backbone to defend it.
