Good evening, Miss Connie.
My dad told me that when my grandfather was dying, just before he breathed his last, he said "Jack!", and then passed. Jack was the name of my grandfather's dog when he was a boy. I guess he made it to the Rainbow Bridge.
Sweet dreams EGPWS.
Thank you for your requests, and for the dance.
Dang blurry screen..
(sniff)

Do y'all 'member the night we went camping? It was a soft summer night and we decided to camp out in our back yard. We didn't have a tent, but draped one of Mama' quilts over a rope we had hung between the two pecan trees. We gathered all our favorite comics to read, snacks--cookies and peanut butter/jelly sammiches, our sleeping bags and pillows, and off we went into the "wilds" of the night. We giggled and read comics by flashlight..till the batteries died, told ghost stories and soon our eyelidss started to droop with sleep.
We snuggled down in the bags...it was still cool at night in early June, and were just about to doze off...when AAAAARRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... pierced the soft cricket-filled night. We all three sat straight up in our sleeping bags, screeched in unison, and tore the quilt off the rope trying to get out fast enought and run into the house to sleep in our own beds!
It was just a coyote singing in the night, but we had never heard one from outside the four walls of our home that late at night.
Mama and Poppa never mentioned it...but I saw them smiling to each other......
Darn,It must be Christmas.Christmas past-Christmas now-Christmas future-sounds like a movie.
Love to hear that! The more the merrier!
(((((awwwwww)))))) I know how you feel. My little Stormy...little black poodle...I still sometimes think I hear his tags jingle in the night. *sigh*
Sorry--Portuguese Water Dog.
It's a working breed that originated in Portugal. They were bred by fisherman to carry lines and nets between boats and to "herd" fish into the nets. Very strong, good swimmers.
We rescued Rudy two years ago from a family in Tampa that just couldn't handle him. He's about 3 inches taller and 25 pounds heavier than the book says he should be. Good pre-natal care, I guess. He fit right in from the start with us. He's a little antsy right now as the boys are studying for exams and haven't had time to play with him. I'll take him out for a good long walk in a little while.
Jake sounds like a hand-full--Half boxer and half Great Dane. Mercy.
Hello there fatima, thanks for your request! Beautiful song, and will post for us here in just a bit!

My oldest is taking a study break right now, and is looking through your catalogue for a Christmas present for his girlfriend.
(((Hugs)))
Well, he is on the right track! The girls just love getting something from us for Christmas and birthdays. May I suggest he start her a charm bracelet? They love them!
Seeeeee....I can't turn it off! LOL!
I remember when I was little..
My Daddy had a black Chrysler Crown Imperial..
I thought it was the neatest car in the world..
On soft summer nights..
I would gather my comic books, bankie and a flashlight..
and camp out in the back seat..
My Poppa would come and gather me up in the middle of the night, and put me back to bed..
He was strong and handsome, and always smelled so nice...
He was my Hero, and still is...
