I remember when I was little..
My Daddy had a black Chrysler Crown Imperial..
I thought it was the neatest car in the world..
On soft summer nights..
I would gather my comic books, bankie and a flashlight..
and camp out in the back seat..
My Poppa would come and gather me up in the middle of the night, and put me back to bed..
He was strong and handsome, and always smelled so nice...
He was my Hero, and still is...

A Crown Imperial! I remember when we got our first car...a Chevy sedan. It smelled so good and it was so nice not to have to ride the bus anymore to where we wanted to go. We could go on trips without having to share our space with strangers on a train. It was heavenly!
I used to pretend to be asleep in the car just to have him carry me in the house.
