How do they plan on getting around that little ole 14th Amendment to the Constitution thingy that says, "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside"?

Are they talking Constitutional amendment?

Today's politicians don't even pretend to follow the Constitution anymore. Campaign Finance and just about every federal drug law are examples of that as well as most entitlement programs. And the really sad part is even the so called Conservative judges and justices uphold a lot of it.

The author of the 14th Amendment stated very clearly in discussions for the amendment that babies born to aliens were not covered.

IMHO, if you are here illegally, the Constitution does not apply to you. Even if you are in the womb and don't have a say in the matter. How can a broken law be twisted into a Constitutional right? I think it will be dealt with by the phrase "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" which implies statutory regulations for anyone present in the US.

Since illegal aliens aren't "subject to the jurisdiction thereof," a constitutional amendment isn't necessary.
