They will riot and all I want to see is what the beast from the west Maxine Waters's excuse this time is; will she side with victims majority of whom were black inner city youths or Tookie, my money is on TOOKIE. I want no tax dollars used to rebuild this time.

It will be interesting to see what he has traded his soul for.
One more thought on trading with rats:

Here's the pattern, the way I see it:

  1. A Republican is presented with a clear moral choice, and his instinct is to decide in favor of the clearly more moral alternative.
  2. The Republican's advisors fear what they perceive to be the political consequences of making a clear moral choice.
  3. The rats offer up a deal: You give us A & B, and we'll give you C & D.
  4. Even though the deal, on its face, is unfair (A+B > C+D), the advisors to the Republican insist that "given the political realities, this is the best deal you can get".
  5. The Republican, against his better judgement, and against the base of his supporters, makes the deal, rotten as it is.
  6. As soon as the deal is cut, the rats refuse to give on point B (which they just promised), and a short time later refuse to give on point A.
  7. The rats get the whole enchilada: A+B+C+D.
  8. Apologists for the Republican still claim, "he made the best deal he could get".
  9. The rats move on to the next deal.

I feel a Great Wavering coming on,...

So do I. "Tookie" cheats death, Arnold commits political suicide. Arnold pleads Maria's influence.

You dont think Arnold is a Republican do you? In my opinion, he is a RINO at best. I also think that he has been completely overwhelmed by the job. Now, having said all this, he is 100 times better than that whore, Grey Davis.

I think LA has been ready to burn all summer. I expected it to go, not NO, but this may be the time.

I expect the vicious SOB actually to get the Nobel Prize if he's executed.

I'm serious. That's how far gone the world is.

Anything to thumb Uncle Sam in the eye.

Arnold can (and hopefully will) take refuge in the fact that apparently, unlike all the last minute court stays of execution, clemency from a governor is a comparatively rare event. So by not taking action (and frying the tookster) he is apparently taking the road more travelled. I think if I were Arnold I'd issue a pro forma statement saying, "I looked at the case and there was no reason to do anything different" and then go on to other matters. I.E. just let the system run it's course and not make a big deal out of it. I hope this is what happens.

If Arnold thinks clemency for Tookie would help him politically he is dead wrong. The people that are for saving this scum bang would never vote for a Republican not even Arnold. Fry Tookie, Fry.

I haven't read the thread yet and I don't think the leftist's MSM would be putting out the subliminal threat of riotus violence if Arnold Schwartzenegger hadn't raised the hopefully false hope of clemency with his bogus secret hearing!!!

Therefore, if there really are riots and mayhem, the blame for it lies at the feet of the celebrity politician who opted for self-agrandisement with his bogus enhancement of playing god with the power of life and death held in his abeyance!!! It's SHAMEFUL!!!

It's all the fault of those evil convservatives who wouldn't vote for his propositions. You are not drinking enough Kool-Aide.

Peaceful demonstrations are fine. But if the usual suspects foment a riot, it should be put down with rapid and maximum use of force. Make it a nice lesson for the future. It's really all they understand.

You can "bet your sweet bippie" that 'spontaneous' riots are at this moment being planned in the bowels of our universities, and liberal 'churches.'

My point is... If there's ANY rioting... Schwartzenegger with his vanity has spawned it by not rejecting any clemency way back before he held the phony secret hearing this week. That has simply spawned enough unnecessary false hope to trigger said rioting if it occurs!!!

This give way more supposed justification to "the usual suspects" as you call them!!!

I feel a Great Wavering coming on, issuing forth from Arnold, shaking the ground beneath our feet.

He knows his career as governator is finished, so he'll pardon this murderer to please his leftie friends in Hollywood, who will reward him with another trio of movies at $20 million each for Arnold.

Happily Ever After for another Republican who screws conservatives. Same ol', same ol'.
