The Age of Autism: "A Pretty Big Secret" (No Autism in large pool of unvaccinated children)
The Washington Times/UPI ^ | December 7, 2005 | Dan Olmstead

Posted on 12/08/2005 6:15:13 PM PST by agsloss

It's a far piece from the horse-and-buggies of Lancaster County, Pa., to the cars and freeways of Cook County, Ill. But thousands of children cared for by Homefirst Health Services in metropolitan Chicago have at least two things in common with thousands of Amish children in rural Lancaster: They have never been vaccinated. And they don't have autism. "We have a fairly large practice. We have about 30,000 or 35,000 children that we've taken care of over the years, and I don't think we have a single case of autism in children delivered by us who never received vaccines," said Dr. Mayer Eisenstein, Homefirst's medical director who founded the practice in 1973. Homefirst doctors have delivered more than 15,000 babies at home, and thousands of them have never been vaccinated....

Me too. Asthma is a mysterious business. But I can see how what is basically an allergic reaction might originally be triggered by something in shots.

My whole family runs to sinusitis, not to the point of asthma perhaps but enough to cause recurrent inner ear problems and the like. It's troubling to think this might be the result of childhood vaccinations.

Yes, zero out of 30,000 is an extraordinary figure. If true, it suggests that vaccinations are not just the major cause of autism but the ONLY possible cause of autism. I suppose it's possible, but it seems odd that nothing else could ever have the same effect, genetic or environmental.

My inlaws have three boys. The oldest is autistic and the two others are showing some symptoms. They have seen two specialists who agree that the mercury in their vaccinations is the culprit. As a result, my niece has elected to pass on vaccines until her kids are older.

This needs to be publicized loudly and often....

I am so sorry to hear about the boys.

I confess that I have been leery of vaccinations for a decade now.

" If true, it suggests that vaccinations are not just the major cause of autism but the ONLY possible cause of autism."

We have also cracked down on toxic metal emissions, so perhaps vaccinations are not the only cause, but almost the only remaining cause.

A link between Thimersol and Autism has yet to be proven. I wonder what type of "specialists" they are, and where they get their information?

You realize, of course, that this argues more for genetics than immunization as the cause. Most people have been immunized, and most are not autistic.

Doesn't a surgeon have to have an M.D.?

In England, M.D. is an advanced degree requiring research and publication.

Medical students graduate with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees (M.B.B.Ch.)

Nevertheless, medical physicians are called "Doctor" and surgeons "Mister".

How close in age are the kids? If the oldest one has austism, then why did they vaccinate the other children?

Thank you. I was logged on when talking to Adam's mom. I read her your post through my tears. Adam's mom said she wouldn't change a thing about him.

I also have a niece who has Down's syndrome. She, too, is an immense joy and a family favoite. When the subject of abortion comes up and it's inferred that those who some deem to be less worthy of life than others, I can hardly stand it. I think do they want to get rid of my grandson or my niece? My grandson and niece are more worthy of life than those who want to rid the world of Adams and Elaines.

I am trying to say that mercury is as poisonous to the brain as cyanide is to the blood.

Must have been a good idea to quit using it.

There never was much mercury in vaccines. It was used as a preservative. You get a bigger dose of mercury from eating a tuna sandwich than you ever got from a shot.

You know the fact is people react differently to vaccines. When you introduce a foreign substance into a million peoples bodies there is going to be cases where a certain percentage of people are damaged. The pharmaceutical companies know this and so does the goverment. There is an evangelist in our church whos body was wrecked by the polio vaccine. Not polio but the polio vaccine. The problem I have is when the comapnies and the government try to hide that fact from its citizens.

The Amish don't have autism. They just have 5,000 other genetic diseases to deal with

And that is maily from inbreeding. Not enough genes from outside sources.

There is a reason why God prohibited marriage between close relatives.

mercury in their vaccinations

Are you serious? there is actually mercury in vaccines??

I know that people who have amalgam fillings can have bad reactions. Of course dentists lose their license for telling their patients not to use mercury fillings.

Not Cause. Thats the word that opens the doors for the sophists.

Vaccinations are the major Trigger....

It's interesting that the rate if autism diagnosis has risen since the mercury preservative has been discontinued.
