NAPERVILLE From all accounts, 19-year-old Lance Cpl. Adam Kaiser lived a quiet life before he was killed serving with the Marines in Iraq.
His funeral service, however, might not be that quiet for his Romeoville parents and others who mourn his death.
A church group that protests funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq with signs that read, "God Hates America," and, "Thank God for Dead Soldiers," plans to be there.
Shirley Phelps-Roper, the attorney for Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan., said a group from the church intends to protest at both Kaiser's funeral and the funeral of Byron resident Lance Cpl. Andrew Patten, 19, who also was killed in Thursday's blast near Fallujah.

From a church group, no less.
Oh, dear. The Phelps group is at it again.
Phelps and Company ain't your ordinary Church groups. They're lefty tools for sure.
The so called Church of hate strkes again.
I live very close to Naperville, wish I could do something to help, but having supporters of the troops there, with signs, would only cause more of a circus.
You ain't kidding. Google "Fred Phelps" and "Al Gore". Don't do it on a full stomach.
Someone needs to organize a HUGE counter group to block these bastards from getting anywhere near this funeral. If I were there I'd be more than happy to join in agaisnt the buttheads.
Church of the living devil, maybe...

I can't write what I really think, but thinking about it they are hoping for a reaction. Don't give them the satisfaction just look into their cowardly eyes and stare into their pathetic weasel eyes . Don't dignify them with a response for their reward will come to them in the end

It's not surprising to me that some church groups act this way. How better to discredit religion, than to act like this when only a devil would do so?
Christians don't revel in the death of anyone. Even when the consumate sinner dies, the Christian thinks of what could have been. Death may be fitting for some, but celebrating their death won't score many brownie points with a God whose Son died for their sins.
These folks are no Christians.
I continue to be amazed that these ***hats have not met with violence at some point.
Bingo.
According to the bikers, they blocked the view so completely that the family never saw the idiots. Good idea, as I highly doubt the Phelps brigade would dare challenge those guys.
