My left eyebrow started twitching as I read that. I have never twitched in my life until reading that.

And what was "unofficial" about the war that's been raging for a number of years now? James Carville, are you off your meds again?

And the difference between these guys and the ones trying to shove a grubby copy of The Watchtower into my hand is what, precisely?

There is no such thing as a former Christian.

Where do these groups get all their free time and funding? I work for a living and have to pay bills. Three full page newspaper advertisements don't come cheap.

Our side comprises of 90% of the population along with at least 9.99% support from those of other creeds or beliefs who think that the assault on CHRISTmas has gone too far...
BRING IT.

You know what, I bet everyone of these knee jerks on their death beds are going to be praying up a storm to God.

If I've got to tell ya, I guess it's probably not worth the bother. I don't like the approach you mention, but at least they're trying to play with the home team.

It is easy to be tolerant of the principles of other people;
IF,....you have none of your own.
Sir Herbert Samuel Well all of FFR types, we have principles and it's
CHRISTMAS Time!

irreverently lays out the case that Jesus Christ never existed. Even most atheists recognize that Jesus Christ is the most significant person in history. They just quibble about the details. You don't see anyone running around claiming that Julius Caesar or Alexander the Great or Napoleon or George Washington never existed. These Jesus-deniers are wishful thinking loons on a major scale.

You have to be a pretty pathetic individual with a totally empty life to spend your time, energy and money obsessing about something that you believe does not exist.

I'd like to declare war on atheists...the ones who want to eliminate crosses, Christmas symbols of all kinds, prayers and words that mean something to us...They are like 3% of our society yet they think they can tell us all what to do. We need to fight back finally.

There is no such thing as a former Christian. Correct, provided that the "former" was ever a real Christian.

And proselytizing, too.
To: CindyDawg
There is no such thing as a former Christian. Are you claiming that I, for instance, didn't used to be a Christian, when for many years I had a devout belief in Him? Or are you claiming that I am still one even though I no longer hold that belief?
