Even most atheists recognize that Jesus Christ is the most significant person in history. They just quibble about the details. You don't see anyone running around claiming that Julius Caesar or Alexander the Great or Napoleon or George Washington never existed. Are you claiming that I, for instance, didn't used to be a Christian, when for many years I had a devout belief in Him? Or are you claiming that I am still one even though I no longer hold that belief?
