German diner fined for biting waitress' toe

A German court fined a man 400 euros (470 dollars) for biting a waitress on the toe and drawing blood after he spilled beer on her foot and she told him to lick it clean.
"The waitress did not hold out her foot for him to hurt, but to clean," the judge ruled in the case in Gelsenkirchen, in western Germany, the court said in a statement.
The waitress took 10 days off work because of the injury.
