air marshals aboard the flight opened fire on someone a 'high ranking official with the joint terrorism task force' claims was someone they considered a threat to the aircraft.

What was he doing inside the security zone at the Airport if they knew this? TSA= Thousands Standing Around.

Heard from our local DA if they had moved all the bomb materials out of the lone, depressed bomber's apartment and they went off, it would have taken out a city block. But the poor roommate who had tickets to Pakistan for the next day didn't see a thing in the apartment.

The local news said that the air marshall heard the passenger say he had a bomb. The person was holding a bag. The marshall wasted no time and popped him. They are confirming that this guy was hit. Don't know if he's dead or not.

The shots were fired on an INcoming flight. Not one departing MIA. The title is still misleading. Small thing, maybe, but this doesn't point to a TSA failure in MIA.

I believe FAM's can use flattening hollowpoint lead shells that would not necessarily create a big hole if fired at the hull. But creates a very nice hole inside/behind flesh and organ covered bone target.

It had to be quite serious for an air marshall to fire his gun. That's probably the last thing they want to do.
