Man. Where to start with this one. Maybe he should have fired a warning shot over her head or checked her ID cause she's a granny and not a terrorist?

I think I would like to be tasered just once- for the experience... I understand cops do it during training.

If you ever get to Indy give me a call, I always wanted to experience doing it to someone too.

Doesn't sound
quite like your basic sweet-tempered little-old-lady type great grandma.

Sounds like she had Dane Bramage before she got there.

Why? Do they need to be shot with a gun "just for the experience" before they can carry one? Never understood that except that some cops are just sadistic @$$holes.

I have worked for many police agencies doing computer software and watching them work- they have one of the toughest jobs around and I have every ounce of respect for them.

I've been pepper sprayed with cops who were doing it for training purposes. Just mentioning it hurts. You can't breathe and when you gasp for breath you just get more pepper spray. You can't see, your eyes and face burn. It was awful. I won't do it again. I told the sheriff if they ever have to come get me I'll gladly engage them in a gun fight, but if they pull out the pepper spray I'll surrender.

You may want to redo your math on that one.

That still doesn't alter my statement that SOME cops are sadistic @$$holes. Just like SOME cops are more crooked than the people they arrest.

tfecw: YOU ARE RIGHT! 21 X 3 = 61 years. (7 years left) You can't un-ring a bell nor recall a wrong message. If you are 68 and a Great-Grandmother it does not imply you raised an irresponsible family.
Thanks for catching me!

No problem! I used to joke with my mother and tell her I was going to turn her into a grandmother when I turned 21 (same age she had me)
But finding the other half of the baby making equation has proved troublesome so she has been enjoying her stay of grandmother-hood ;)

Lets see the last time I checked 21x3=63 with 5 years left.
My mother was 17 when she had her first kid back in 1953. She got pregnant within the first year she was married.
People got married at younger ages back then.
Her and my father raise 3 good responsible kids.
My mother is 68 and could have been a great grandmother 5 year ago. The oldest Great-grand kid is now 23 years old but no kids yet.
People need to stop assuming the worst of others.

hrm...she could be..
20= mom
40= grandma
60= great grandma.
great grandmothers were 61 and 63 when my older sister was born, my great-great grandmother was 82. and all were married when they had children.
so where's the irresponsibility here?

Kidwell says she suffered burns, permanent brain damage, and mental anguish. Methinks the brain damage was a pre existing condition.
