Is the Sun Heating Up?

- Astrophysicists are scratching their heads about what's happening on the sun and in our solar system. Why has this so-called "Solar Minimum" been so active? It should be quiet now with very few sunspots because this is supposed to be the low point of the Sun's 11-year-sunspot cycle. But this week, there was a sunspot called 822 that's 87,000 miles across - the size of the planet Jupiter! Could it erupt with more powerful X-flares as has happened the past few months. Big flares threaten all the broadcast, global positioning and military satellites that now orbit our planet. As I've reported before in Earthfiles, the sun is not "normal." Is it warming up?

I suspect that someone will figure out a way to not only blame this on global warming, but blame George Bush.

Yes . . . and it can be stopped if we only implement a global income tax to pay climate reparations to each government in the third world.

Imagine that, the sun it hot .......
But, don't tell the Liberals/MSM/Democrats/Enviro Wackos that.
They might just figure out that ?
It might be the reason for global warming , and not just in this passed last century, but, is past patterns in Earth's history.
I guess now, we will have to try to explain to the Liberals/MSM/Democrats/Enviro Wackos that the Earth is really round, but, they are difficult to convince them that one just yet.

Yeah .... who would have thought ?

Right now there are only three tiny sunspots on the sun that are no threat to anyone. Author-is-a-moron alert.

This from the article: a very interesting graph. Note that during the ordovician period (440 MY ago) the athmospheric CO2 is 100 times what it is today, and yet its bloody freezing. It's all to do with insolation (no sic) IMO.

I believe we should send a lot of environmental scientists to the sun to investigate.

What this article really points out is that the scientists don't have a clue!
