This from the article: a very interesting graph. Note that during the ordovician period (440 MY ago) the athmospheric CO2 is 100 times what it is today, and yet its bloody freezing. It's all to do with insolation (no sic) IMO.
Re the Graph: I said 100 times as much CO2, whereas its more like 12 times. I must be spending too much time looking at the sun ...
