BILL SETS STAGE FOR HILL'S RUN (red states high on Dims' 2008 agenda)

OPENING ACT: Bill Clinton gives what may have been a presidential pitch for wife Hillary last night at Crobar.Photo: Robert Miller

Bill Clinton may have fired the opening salvo in his wife's 2008 presidential campaign last night when he answered a supporter's shouted question about whether Hillary would run for president with these words: "We'll get into that."

Clinton ripped into the Republican leadership....(and) slammed the Bush administration for giving him "five tax cuts" while cutting food-stamp assistance to poor people.

Clinton used the phrase "We can do better" like a mantra, repeating it four times — including one riff aimed at the administration's response to Hurricane Katrina.

But perhaps in a nod to red-state moderate voters who would be crucial to Hillary's White House hopes, Clinton added, "She even works with people who wanted to run me out of town."

More than 2,000 people paid $50 a pop to attend the event at swanky Chelsea nightspot Crobar......... Hillary didn't attend.

We gotta get this on a tee shirt:

"Vote Democrat. Designed to give a false sense of secutity while you're getting screwed."

When I read the title, I thought it was a new law being introduced in congress, something like: Only Votes For A HildeBeast Will Count In 2008.

Clinton used the phrase "We can do better" like a mantra, repeating it four times

They had their chance to "do better" for 8 years. Most of what he accomplished that was good, he was dragged into kicking and screaming by a Republican Congress. Unfortunately, his lackadaisical attitude toward national security brought us the World Trade Center. He and his bratty wife are nothing more than a national punch line.

For eight straight months Rasmussen has found the same 40% would not vote for the beast. Other minor polls have found the same thing. Even a poll that had rats doing well in Florida ( pure science fiction )had the same 40% number for the beast. We want her to run gang, we want her to run.

Her poll numbers go further south when voters are asked if they'd vote for her for Senate if she refuses to serve out the term.

Surely the good folks in New York State have learned by now that Ms. Clinton will not give them a straight answer about her intentions. It is time to take a hard look at her record as their "Junior Senator". The tax and spend Jr. Senator would make a very poor choice in either chair – senator or president.

You are right, I think the AIDS is getting to him. He might not make it to 2008. The man looks bad. Not bad enough to suit some, but he definitely isnt a picture of health.

Y'think he has AIDS? I guess we'll never officially know. I do know his complexion is looking as ashen as his hair.

Senator Hillary Clinton is not smart, but she is clever. The ploy of setting up fake hecklers in the crowd to make her look like she is a conservative was good politics.

The truth is that Hillary Clinton is, and always has been, a dedicated Marxist since the 60s. A skunk can't change its stripe.

Notice, that the "hecklers" were not removed until after they had their long say.

I too hope Clinton runs for the presidency. She hasn't got a chance. Almost anyone the wimpy Republicans put up against her would win. But don't count on Condi -- she is too smart.

Hillary's Marxist mentor, Saul Alinsky, opens his book "Rules for Radicals" ---Hillary's (ahem) Bible----with a quote extolling their little tin god: “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins -- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that
he at least won his own kingdom ~ Lucifer.”

Really now. Faced with unvarnished evil, Christians will never countenance being subjugated by characters of that ilk, transmongrified into the personages of Hillary, and company.
