Ms Streisand is dropping her subscription to the Los Angeles Times, out of loyalty to Robert Scheer and revulsion at Jonah Goldberg.

YES! It is on like Donkey Kong! I have been waiting for a leftist boycott of the Lying *******s Times, and this just might get the ball rolling!
So, once again, have fun with your lack of newspapers, Brokey McNojob!

"It seems that your new leadership, especially Publisher Jeff Johnson, is entirely out of touch with your readers and their desire to be exposed to views that stretch them beyond their own paradigms..."
"So although the number of contributors to your Op-Ed pages may have increased, in firing Scheer and hiring columnists such as Jonah Goldberg, the gamut of voices has undeniably been diluted."

She sings like a bird. And she's got the brain of one, to boot.

Babs new song:
Well I lay my head on the railroad track
Waiting on the Double E
But the train don't run by here no more
Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor pitiful me
Oh these boys won't let me be
Lord have mercy on me
Woe woe is me
To: MJY1288
She can't spell, I doubt she can read.
I agree, she should move out of this country.
Cuba would be OK, or she could go to Venezuela
To: george76
BS is right on, the LA TIMES is out of touch and has been for a long time.
I do hope that the Times listens to Babs and moves even more to the left. Then the only people reading it will be BS and her two friends

From the L.A. Times website:
Scheer said he thought The Times had grown tired of his liberal politics. "I've been a punching bag for Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh for years and I think the paper finally collapsed," he said. He said he and Ramirez "both had strong opinions and [I think] the owners think they can improve circulation by making the paper bland and safer."
Note to Mr. Scheer: Robert, "bland and safer" is not quite the right phrase. How about "not quite so anti-American, Bush-hating, neurotic, schizophrenic, and conservative bashing?"

Every sentence of her letter is hilarious. She even signs off with a lie about her location. She lives in Malibu, but writes that she is in Santa Monica.
She actually believed the LA TImes was unbiased? That is proof positive that she is delusional. Even with the new ownership & minor changes in staff, the LA Times is still leaning left. The only reason they are trying to "right" themselves is due to the tens of thousands of subscribers they lost.

I've always liked Jonah Goldberg...brilliant writing in National Review.
I now have greater respect for him. He's made Babs out herself as the intolerant, narrow-minded limousine liberal we've always known her to be.
Conservatives can disagree and remain united...liberals, self-absorbed as they are, cannot.

So what is Brolin going to do from 605 ro 607 in the morning ?
