BS is right on, the LA TIMES is out of touch and has been for a long time.

Babs clearly doesn't see the irony here: she's the one that doesn't want to stretch beyond her own paradigm. If she had any real interest in paradigm-stretching, she'd read Goldberg's column religiously, just to see what the other side thinks. Instead, she cancels her subscription.
