FOR BACKGROUND: www.HillCAP.org; PETER PAUL AND HILLARY SERIES
After following the drama in New York about whether Jeanine Pirro was in or out of a race against Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton, I made a call to the New York GOP headquarters yesterday.
It appears that Jeanine is staying in the race, rather than making a try for Attorney General. At least, that is the plan for now.
I called to discuss the one issue that Pirro could use that may actually have some impact -- the 2000 campaign finance fraud by Hillary and her campaign team.
The lady who answered the phone listened to the reason for the call, then she connected me with the man in charge of research. Since I didn't get the approval to use his name, I won't use it here. Amazingly, Pirro is running against Hillary and no one in NY seems to understand the implications of her campaign finance fraud. The research guy thought that everything was all over when David Rosen was acquitted in Los Angeles in May. He had no idea that a civil suit was proceeding against Bill, Hillary, and several others.
The research guy said he would pass it up the food chain. He wanted background, and it was provided to him.
We will see if Pirro is really serious about going after Hillary or is just wasting everyone's time. But, finally, someone at the New York GOP knows that Hillary is finally going to be under oath n 2006. It is amazing that they didn't know.
NY GOP = KEYSTONE COPS ???
Won't help. This is going to take a well-known reporter who wants to win a Pulitzer. Bush's Justice Department is not ever going to go after Hillary.
I applaud your efforts DFU...I just recieved a letter in the mail from the Pirro office and will make a contribution to her campaign, I can't vote for her but I'll help out as I can!
I honestly believe they didn't know. I have talked to reporters who have no clue. When I confronted David Kendall a month ago in Los Angeles Appellate court, there was only one reporter there --- Josh Gerstein of the NY SUN. The L.A. Times was within walking distance, and no one showed up.
Thanks for your persistent effort on this.
"We Won't Forget": http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a3a9d7bc20319.htm
Most people have short memories, so we have to keep reminding them.
Perhaps they don't WANT to know because they enjoy evening strolls in local parks. It is unbelievable to think that "top political" operatives are not aware of a story of this magnitude and consequence. **shaking head**
The hearing was a part of the civil trial, not a criminal trial. Nevertheless, you would think that a civil lawsuit against a former president and sitting senator might make at least a few reporters mildly curious.
Another reason why the RNC isn't getting any money from me. When they get it together, I'll donate.
Yeah... the media are all over Rove, Libby, Delay and poor Cunningham. But if it's a socialist, they are ninja. If the Clinton's are found guilty, do they go to jail? Does Hillary have to step down? Where were the World Net Daily, National Review or Newsmax reporters?
Today a second year law school student told me she thought that the Bush Administration asked Clark to represent SH to prove to the world that he was receiving a fair trial.
I told her that Clark never has and never will do ANYTHING in support of the USA and has been a traitor to this country for 40 years. She thinks I'm crazy!
If this is the best and brightest the GOP/Conservatives (and she is/claims to be both) have to offer, we are in deep doo doo.
Way to go Doug!
The hearing and upcoming civil trial have received great coverage here on FR but beyond those of us in the choir room, it seems to be a non-story.
Presenting the info to the NY GOP was a great tactic IMO. I hope they keep your phone ringing off the hook for more info.
Great job.
Next...how do we get Pirro to expand on that, for a full, multi-point negative platform that would require hillary to spend large amounts of money to defend ?
oh wait... never mind.
=o)
This will take a well-known reporter who is prepared to be shunned forever by his MSM colleagues. He or she would have as much a chance to win the Pulitzer as George W. Bush would to win the Nobel Prize (not that it's worth wanting anymore).
Hillary won in 2000 by courting upstate. She has remained highly visible here since. Pirro needs to get out of Westchester, yesterday.
IMPERIOUS HILLARY
(THE REPORTS OF HER DEATH ARE GREATLY UNDERSTATED)
Doug is one heck of a sleuth.
Upstate needs its own state.
Ah, but that was before the internet. And doug :)
If "Pee Wee Herman can give her a race," it follows that the bright and talented and charismatic and TV-savvy Jeanine Pirro, who spent her 30-year career championing exactly the women hillary clinton abused, can cream her.
