Statement by Kerry spokesman David Wade: 'Ken Mehlmans filthy and shameful lie about a decorated combat veteran is disgraceful. Political hack Ken Mehlman and draft dodging, donut eating Rush Limbaugh have something in common. Neither of them know anything about how to make American troops safe. John Kerry will continue to speak out about how to succeed in Iraq and protect brave American troops'...
"Sometimes with a diet coke!!!"
Good strategery ... cancels out all the donut calories, lol.
The whole thing has made my day!
The unemployment numbers may go up a notch after this one tomorrow AM....
LOL...Rush and Mehlman sure must have hit a nerve with Hanoi John!
That's just so. . . . like Kerry, to complain when his own words are thrown back at him. What a horrid little man.
I fear that soon the Kerry camp will get serious and use the "I know you are, but what am I?" tactic. Then we are really screwed.
You're right! If we're not careful next thing you know they'll be tattling to our Moms.....then we're in BIG trouble!!
SCHIEFFER: All right. Let me shift to another point of view, and it comes from another Democrat, Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut. He takes a very different view. He says basically we should stay the course because, he says, real progress is being made. He said this is a war between 27 million Iraqis who want freedom and 10,000 terrorists. He says we're in a watershed transformation. What about that?Sen. KERRY: Let me--I--first of all, there is so much more that unites Democrats than divides us. And Democrats have much more in common with each other than they do with George Bush's policy right now. Now Joe Lieberman, I believe, also voted for the resolution which said the president needs to make more clear what he's doing and set out benchmarks, and that the policy hasn't been working. We all believe him when you say, `Stay the course.' That's the president's policy, which hasn't been changing, which is a policy of failure. I don't agree with that. But I think what we need to do is recognize what we all agree on, which is you've got to begin to set benchmarks for accomplishment. You've got to begin to transfer authority to the Iraqis. And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the--of--the historical customs, religious customs. Whether you like it or not...
SCHIEFFER: Yeah.
Sen. KERRY: ...Iraqis should be doing that. And after all of these two and a half years, with all of the talk of 210,000 people trained, there just is no excuse for not transferring more of that authority.
LOL. Well, the Dems just lost the donut vote.
Not only did we dodge a bullet in 2004, we dodged the end of America! God Bless our Troops and God Bless the American people who did not vote for Kerry.
Wade added "We're rubber and you're glue. Whatever you say bounces off us and sticks to you....Neener neener neener."
KERRY EATS CROISSANTS! With sour pickles.
I can't even believe that was a real response! I really expected this to link to THE ONION, but sure as hell JF'inK's staff is dumber than he is.
Maybe Kerry authorized this release before he cancelled the authorization???
Well without the doughnuts the Dems are left with a bunch of 'holes.
Are they still implying Rush is fat? How many years has it been since he slimmed down?? By making fun of Rush's past weight problem, it sounds like slimy Kerry's spokesperson is a bigot. They discriminate against overweight people!
Wade is on the right.
My favorite line was when Brit Hume played a clip of Kerry speaking then looked in the camera and said if anyone understood what he was talking about could they please call in. (or words to that effect!)
Maybe, maybe not. However, On Bill Clinton's watch, we had several major terrorist attacks on American soil, including the first WTC bombing, the U.S. embassy bombings in Africa, and the Khobar towers and USS Cole bombings. Speaking of making American troops safe, also Mogadishu (Black Hawk Down) happened on Clinton's watch when then Secretary of State Les Aspin (D) refused to supply our troops with what they needed to do the job.
In contrast, 9/11 did happen on GWB's watch, but ever since then our troops have been taking it to the enemy, and we have not had another major attack on American soil.
Seems to me that the record speaks for itself.
John Kerry scares me. Therefore, he's a terrorist.
