RE: "Odd. I could have swore that Hollywood already made a slew of "the world is ending it's all the Republican's fault" enviro-whacko disaster flicks. Hell, suffering through the "Category 7: End of the World" and "The Day After Tomorrow" commercials was bad enough!" Yessir. You ARE correct...as always.
However... Some things never change. ...I believe the 'working title' of this new piece (pun intended) is: "11th Hour (BLAME BUSH!!!)" ...and of course it's not 2006 yet, let alone 2008. I'm afraid it's gonna be another long Winter...

Yes, I agree. Some things never DO change. I expect that movie stars thinking they're experts in politics... and in everything ELSE in the world for that matter... is something we're gonna be stuck with (pun intended) for a while.

RE: "Gotta Love Hollywood Experts." Yep. Some things never change. I suppose Mickey Mantle would still be trying to sell those razor blades if he could. ...and John Kerry is still trying to sell his Vietnam Hero story to anyone he can find who'll buy it.

From a post I made earlier, on an
Ollie North article about "Jarhead":
I played a CIA agent in a movie -- it wasn't that hard, and I got really good reviews. Therefore, I am an authority on the subject.
I played a Secret Service agent in a movie -- it wasn't that hard, and I got really good reviews. Therefore, I am an authority on the subject.
I played the President of the United States in a TV series -- it wasn't that hard, and I got really good reviews. Therefore, I am an authority on the subject.
I played a U.S. Marine in a desert flick -- it wasn't that hard, and I got really good reviews. Therefore, I am an authority on the subject.
Anyone see a pattern here?

Ok, be honest, everyone! Was it just me, or did anyone else get this image when hearing Little Leo was going to play Howard Hughes?
C'mon, everybody! We're gonna build airplanes! My Daddy says we can use his barn!

I think I'm good to go.That is tantamount to, "Hold my beer, watch this!" There is no one I can think of that I want to hear say that. . . . except maybe all the Democrats.
