I think the charge of treason can only be levied against a government official. Although How-weird Dean is DNC head, I don't think he qualifies as a gov't official. I will accept gentle correction on this matter, though.

Mike is wrong.
Dean's comments need to be replayed in many places in the future; and Dean's job title must accompany the comments.
It would save the Republican National Committee a lot of ad dollars.
