Female Suicide Bombers Kill 27 in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Two women strapped with explosives blew themselves up at Baghdad's police academy on Tuesday, killing 27 people and wounding 32, the U.S. military said.

The women blew themselves up in a classroom filled with students, the statement from Task Force Baghdad said. No U.S. forces were killed or wounded in the attack, it said.

U.S. forces rushed to the scene to provide assistant, the statement said.

Iraqi police said one bomb exploded in a cafeteria, while the other detonated during roll call. Police Lt. Ali Mi'tab said the women were probably students at the academy, which is why they were not searched.

Five other female police officers were among the dead, he added.

How the heck do they get into these places? Í can't imagine an ordinary unescorted civilian getting into an American police academy--the security is tight in most public places in the US. The idea of someone being able to walk casually into a lunchroom or classroom would not be feasible here.

a "drug concoction" for some of these killers

It seems to me that the lunatic actions of homicide bombers always made a strong case for drug use before an "operation." Contrary to the anti-drug public service ads they run from time to time Olds Media strikes me as drug user friendly, which may explain a lack of stories about drug use prior to an "operation."

Like was done for the "hashishim?"

From whom the word "assasin" came.

Thanks for bringing up that fact. IMHO by editorial choice Olds Media severely underreports drug use prior to "operations".

We know this tactic.

The Iraqis are stupid for not searching ALL people entering a police academy building since this has happened repeatedly.

When you are in a state of martial law, you should throw out all rules (including any religious rule of do not search) and be realistic, be smart. It is going to happen.

Stupidity is allowing the Iraqis to have their people murdered.

Great security if two women with bombs strapped to them can get into a police class.

"Funny how you never hear of those things (Drug-upped terrorists) anywhere else in the electronic media but Fox."

Of course not, NA, because it doesn't serve the MSM's agenda. I truly hope the day comes when the treasonous, lying, bastard MSM gets theirs.

As much as I hate him for what he did to Douglas MacArthur, you gotta admit that Harry S Truman new how to put an end - once and for all - to the...

MacArthur was brilliant in some ways, but he was also a pompous ass and was out of line - there can be only one CIC, and that person leads from the Oval Office. If you talk to people who knew him and worked for him - as I have - you come to know that many rational people did not regard MacArthur highly at all. HST did the right thing when he fired him, just as he did in ordering up Fat Man (right) and Little Boy (left) as gifts to the Japanese.

There are Infrared video cameras available that can look through clothing. Airport security considered those but couldn't agree on who should operate them. Sony makes one model, and they are really revealing. Should be able to see bombs through burkas.

Women have blind passion for whatever their men have blind passion for when they are as bound as these women are in their culture.

I read a few articles about the PLO and Hamas use of women. they are recruited from families that must pay a price for some past grievance, or the women were caught in adultery, or trying to convert to another less violent religion.

The use of women for this evil is the edge of the scale. What it points to is the barbaric treatment of their women down through the ages. They treat their women as if they were domestic animals. In the Western world, you would be put in prison for animal abuse.

Of course, the feminists hypocrits turn a blind eye to all of this. Standard operating procedure for the adolescent left.

now the spawners of aforesaid young men are being eliminated.

Call me calloused, or whatever. That thought ran through my head, as well. "At least those two women will not be able to breed more little radicals".

This is an ongoing nightmare. How do you stop things like this?

Find out who the suicide bomber was and send a team to kill every member of his/her family. We'd only have to do it a few times before the bombings stop. Yes, the family members may have been innocent, but so are the people being killed by the bombers. Overall, far fewer people would die.

That is a very real way of perhaps beginning to end this. I have heard it before.

John McLame would be horrified!

Unfortunately I don't think the US has the toughness to implement such a policy, nor to stand up to the resulting criticism. Easier just to let the innocent continue to die.
