BAGHDAD, Iraq, Dec. 5 - Amid the wrenching testimony of a survivor who told of the atrocities wrought by Saddam Hussein's secret police, the presence of a former American attorney general on Mr. Hussein's defense team in the trial court on Monday seemed to be one of the day's less bewildering things.
Ramsey Clark, one of America's more renowned contrarians, made a mark notable even by his own singular standards on Monday when he delivered a lecture to the judges on the elements essential to a fair trial, including adequate physical protection for the defense lawyers. Earlier, flushed and indignant, Mr. Clark joined in a defense walkout that brought the trial to a temporary halt...

Ramsey Clark, the U.S. attorney general under President Johnson, questioned the legitimacy of the Iraqi tribunal and safety of the lawyers.
Clark belongs in Guantanamo Bay with the rest of them.
Enough said.
Why didn't we just drop a hand grenade in Sadam's spider hole?
NY Times: Ramsey Clark is revealed to be the son of God.
Hey man...now what would the liberals say...
"Because we need to be understand that he has rights too..."
Seems like everybody has rights these days. I wonder if they would say the same for Hitler or Stalin. They would probably defend Stalin more.
Fragmentation or Willie Peet?
I hope some patriotic Iraqi, who suffered under the rule of Saddam Hussein, reduces this American Traitor to room temperature in an ambush on the road back to the Baghdad Airport
Ramsey Clark was, and still is, an unmitigated jackass' behind. Some things (sigh) just never change!
I agree with the Guantanamo suggestion.
No, he belongs in a mental institution. Who takes him seriously anyway?
More likely to revise the historical record to more closely reflect the non-reality of Moveon.org, CodePink, Answer, and the DemocRATic party. These folks are totally encapsulated in their fantasies and are reinforced by each others delusions.
Either would have done the job quite nicely. Willie Peter would have smelled worse, but this is Iraq - who would have noticed?
Oh....yet another leftover from the "Johnson"
And I thought Clinton was the only President who got caught doing that....
I'd gladly pay for the ammo expended in the effort.
Well, at least we can all agree that he is a traitor.
More people thinking the Iraqis are stupid. Nothing could be further from the truth. It's not that they can't have Clark's complete BS translated, it's that they don't want to waste their time with it. Neither would I.
Hell, I'd gladly pay for his kids College education
Shew.
Those people cheered him at their anti-war protest - Saddam's defense lawyer.
You and me both.
