John Kerry is at it again, smearing the honor of the US armed forces in Iraq by making outrageously inaccurate charges against the hard working men and women in Iraq doing their utmost to help the nation achieve victory there. Kerry said the following on Face the Nation on Sunday:
"And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the --of--the historical customs, religious customs. Whether you like it or not...Iraqis should be doing that."
Kerry acts like when our soldiers make a search of a home they do so just for grins. The only time a home is raided is when there is solid intelligence that there are terrorist suspects in the home. No one is treated brutally or "terrorized," but yes the raids are quick and intrusive, using the cover of night to keep the element of surprise and to prevent terrorist suspects from having too much lead-time to act. I guess Kerry doesn't want to disturb the sleep of terrorists so they can be alert and rested when they carry out murder against our troops in the morning.
The fact is, Kerry owes our forces in Iraq an apology for using reasonable and prudent search tactics against them all for his own political benefit by looking like the most "anti-war" candidate in the Democratic primary field for 08. It is unconscienable Kerry would make these remarks knowing full well that our forces are not out to victimize innocent Iraqis, but to get at the bad guys, all at a time our troops are making great strides in beating the bad guys and bringing democracy to Iraq.
Kerry's ugly remarks attacking our military in Iraq becomes even more galling when you read Joe Lieberman's November 28th Wall Street Journal piece praising the professionalism and honor of our forces in Iraq and the tremendous strides they're making their to beat the jihadist monsters.
But then slandering our troops is nothing new for the traitor Kerry. Remember these absolutely appalling charges made against our troops in Vietnam, all based on nothing Kerry actually witnessed (he admitted it was nothing he ever saw) and later proven largely to be bunk? Kerry smeared the reputation of Vietnam veterans when he said the following in testimony before Congress in 1970:
"They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan , shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country," Kerry testified.
Kerry's irresponsibility in continuing to accuse US troops of heinous acts all to serve his political ends have got to be called for what they are: enemy-emboldening sedition. This hack has no business in the US Senate making such incredibly intemperate and hyper-partisan remarks all in the service of his narrow political aims of attacking a president he's still frustrated he couldn't beat in 2004.
But then when you consider that Kerry seems to have a pattern of making false charges against the military, it begins to dawn on you that it's not so much Bush that Kerry hates, it's the US military he really despises--and this from a man who exploited his supposed military service as being his only real selling point to convince Americans to make him commander in chief of a military he clearly finds barbarous. Thank goodness Americans saw through his phoniness and sent him back to the Senate to do what he does best: being a trash-talking, bomb-throwing, back bencher, partisan extremist liar.
John Kerry has just been outdone by Alan Colmes on Hannity and Colmes tonight. In an interview with John O'Neill, Colmes accused American military personnel of engaging in terrorist activity, and equated American soldiers and Marines to terrorists. I have watched this show for years, and laughed and shook my head at Colmes and his statements.
NO MORE.
Colmes has crossed a forbidden line and,
I WILL NEVER WATCH "HANNITY AND COLMES" AGAIN. ALAN COLMES MUST BE FIRED.
I want no apology from Colmes, I want him gone.
When the show is called "Hannity and (Someone Else)" I'll consider watching again. Right now, I so angry I don't know when I'll turn my channel selector to Fox again.
sorry for the poor typing
it's the only thing lurch has never flip flopped on.
I agree with you 100%. I hate politicians that try to pass themselves off as "war heroes" to get elected. I am also retired Army. I never consider a politician's military experience when I am deciding on whether or not to vote for them. It does look as though the DemocRATS are really going to be pimping their "veterans" during the next couple of elections. Personally, I think that's a dumb idea. The jackass party should have learned that during the last presidential election.
For that statement John Kerry needs to apologize to the American soldier in a world venue or resign as a United States Senator!!!! And if I was an American soldier in Iraq, whether he does either, I would be organizing a class action lawsuit against him for using his slanderous loose lips.......
the liberals are all trying to out-do one another, sit back, watch and laugh....I know sometimes this is difficult, even I have trouble doing so, but it will help your blood pressure...LOL
When the show is called "Hannity and (Someone Else)" I'll consider watching again.
I vote for Hannity and Coulter!
I will for ever after associate the name Kerry with a flip-flop.
First, he was pro-war and wanted a JFK-esque rep. to parlay into the next Camelot.
We he got to combat, his cowardice was widely recognized. Knowing this and seeing a political opportunity in the anti-war Vietnam fools, he suddenly became anti-war. It worked to get him elected, and he even managed to cleverly keeo HIS bogus medals around for future use.
Then, when he sensed that America would never make him President with the incredible treason in his past, the next makeover began. Slick Willy and his buddy Lehman helped wash and hide Kerry's service record and 'polish' his commendations.
Then, PRESTO! In the 2004 campaign he's Lt. Kerry and reporting for duty, 'war buddies' in tow. Regime change in Iraq! The US MUST use force to remove Saddam! American didn't buy Flipper, thanks to the Swifties.
But wait, when anti-war Dean kicked his ass, suddenly Kerry 'voted against it'!! I'm Hanoi John and I INVENTED anti-war Jack, oh, and Bush lied! Now I'm starting to get dizzy...
Oh, but wait! The backlash against the anti-war pukes is considerable, so Kerry 'supports the troops'!
And now, of course, he's getting desperate and decided to get back to his fundamentals. Treason worked to get Kerry elected once, let's break out the 'baby killers' rhetoric and let the games begin!
Hanoi John "Flipper" Kerry, what a loser of a legacy.
Once a Traitor, always a Traitor.
Pray for W and Our Heroic Freedom Fighters
No, it's done now. Only fools suffer a traitor to exist in their midst.
Genghis Khan must have gone through Iraq.
then we are all fools FRiend....
have you really taken a look at Congress as a whole....???
There be a whole lot of Traitors and a whole lot of Treason going on up there.
You put it very well.
Boggles the mind.
And what should be done with a Traitor?
This is exactly the same type of crap he put out re Vietnam era troops. Coincidence or knee-jerk, anti-American military mind set?
How about Hannity and Pelosi?
Now the demonrats are remembering why they had to put this guy on a script at the end of last year's campaign. LOL!.
We can only pray that someone gets a microphone close to Tah-ray-zuh.
She's so silent...wonder if someone offed her???
I'm one person......
I'm not about to say what I really think?
Are you?
I better laugh again, my blood pressure is rising,
I can feel it.
Hannity and Lieberman?
