I hope it works. The best way to stop the flood of immigrants is to build a prosperous Mexico.
Will never happen. The more money sent back to Mexico, the more Mexicans want to come here illegally. They are envious of successful Jose who is able to send money home and will emulate Jose's illegal entry to the United States.

We have illegal immigrant Mayan Indians here from Mexico. They don't even speak Spanish. But most of the brown skin people who are driven from Mexico into the USA are Indian-Spanish mixture called Mestizo.
The America I grew up in would never have tolerated an immigration invasion from Mexico. It's amazing how soft, dumb and happy this country has become. We have many very dynamic Americans but the average have muddled minds that could care less about American pride and sovereignty
It'll never happen. The structure of the entire nation (government and populace) is far too corrupt for them to even rise to the standards of the rural South, no matter how much cash is thrown down that hole.
They can only send this amount back home because they're not paying taxes. We need to charge a fee for money transfers by immigrants.
First, hipanic is not a race - it's a culture. Second, in mexico, the Spaniards took over a couple of hundred years ago and virtually wiped out the Mayans and the Aztecs, who were indians. Finally, in mexico today there is an oligarchy under the guise of a democratic govt. If you are not of the ruling class you never will be.
Too many people fail to recognize that and I'll repeat what you wrote, it's both the government and the populace.
