I agree wholeheartedly. Jean Schmidt was right; I truly hated to see her get the treatment she got with no backing. As a veteran of Vietnam and 20 years in Army Aviation I can say it without fear of being called a chickenhawk. Murtha has lost his spine, an ugly thing to see in a veteran with his credentials. He's hurting our country and our guys on the front line. Retire Mr. Murtha, you're time is up.

:-) I agree with you, except on perhaps the small but important point that Jean Schmidt should have made no apologies.
You are quite right that she didn't deserve the treatment she got, but as conservatives, do we really expect to be treated humanely by the MSM? They are fallible and vulnerable. She should have maintained her quote.
We might have a SNOW day. Predictions are for bwtween 5-10 inches of SNOW where I live.
